Think of it this way, the lawsuit could be a cheep fun couple of months. I say take the SOB for all he's worth and leave his wife a crying widowed mess... Just my opinion though... _J
Sorry you feel that way. I don't see harm in making a "replica" model for what seems to be a personal collection? If the guy goes to mass produce without Jim's permission, then that's another story. I actually can't wait to see the finished model. Much respect for the talent he has.
I've been a member over there a long time and haven't been on that site in forever though. That model is truly impressive. I forgot the talent in the model section on that board. I can believe how surreal the rims came out.
Mr G- I was thinking a few things, regarding your inspiration to do the P 4/5 project. Basically, did you see the Enzo and think "this would be a great car to base a modern interpretation of P3/4 off of?" Or had you been toying with this idea for years and the Enzo came out and it all clicked (basically, chicken or the egg?). Following that up, would you have purchased an Enzo if P4/5 had not been in the pipeline? Thanks!
Hey As Max points out the Enzo came out before P 4/5 and was used as the basis of P 4/5. PF approached me and asked if I'd consider commissioning a Bespoke One Off and I said I'd like something that looked like my P 3/4 on an Enzo chassis. Fourteen months later I was test driving P 4/5. This kind of logic is behind much of the problems we face today in America...if not the single biggest problem : Lawyers and their frivolous lawsuits which they seem to actually justify to themselves. Just my opinion
He was kidding. I do think that the comment on the last video link does make one wonder if the Human race is smart enough to survive.
Interesting comment on that link... But it's true Jim, that P4/5 isn't neither a ferrari P4 nor a P5. He's got you there. _J
