I'm also pulling for the Audis, I'm so frakin' excited to see those R8's! What's the live stream you found? Looks like we'll be spending Sunday on here again enjoying the 'Ring. I just searched around but can't find any live timing. We're spoiled this weekend with the Ring and Monaco GP. I still haven't finished watching the Grand Am from Laguna Seca last week.
the R8's are really neat - I posted a couple photos of the one from the GT3 race at Spa a couple weekends ago here on other racing try this - (fron ten-tenths) Yes, there will be an official stream on the race website (http://www.24h-rennen.de) in two quality options, the stream will start saturday before the race. Don't expect the stream to be TV-like all through the race though, it will most probably just show one static camera as long as the TV is off air (DSF airs 9 hours of the race live). Carol The individual channels on justinTV are run by individuals and go on and off depending on what the guys are into. You can set it so you get an email when a favorite of yours starts broadcasting. Otherwise you search their auto sport section of the listings. Anything F1 will be a passworded channel now and you need to make contact before hand to get set up. BBC has clamped down on them . N24 is supposed to stream on- http://adac.24h-rennen.de/ A Ford on pole has really upset the Germans. Not surprised there's been a stewards issue! Should be a good race.

Fantastic riding in last years winning porsche on the tail of the leading Ford GT. Bloody beaut through traffic. Lap 2 they crossed the line with identical times!!! This is a 24 hour sprint. Ford doesnt like the curbing. 40 minutes of incar as these two haven't been further apart than 0.01 secs around the green hell plus the GP circuit. This is the best racing I've seen as a viewing experience.
Do you think it will still be cat and mouse if the Porsche gets past the Ford GT? Great racing so far.
Would've been if that backmarker hadn't clipped him causing the spin. Just as the porsche was falling back slightly too. Don't know if my heart would've taken much more! lol

I thought the Phoenix team (#98 R8LMS) would be doing better with Stuck, Biela, Pirro, Fässler driving. He mentioned them on radiolemans as I was typing this. Still have 22 hrs to go, so who knows what will happen. EDIT: Just caught that they had a penalty. I missed that when afk.
Yes, now the grind begins and we'll see who's prepared best, not just who's quick. Thought the Ford GT did well but its hard on its back tyres with the curbs throwing it sideways as it was. Didn't think it was good for 24 hours. Audi weaker than expected and B6 Alpina better than expected. Looking like a porsche win at this early stage.
Anyone see the Ford GT pit stop? They were trying to push start it. 5 mechanics pushing.. car stalls (stops immediately) and one of the mechanic ran his nuts right on top of the CF wing
