Is it ever gonna stop RAINING???

Tell me about it we didn't have any for so long and now this. I took advantage of this to do all of the fluids on the 360 and now I cant drive it! Some of the streets around here have a foot of standing water.

 

It's been beautiful in NY. We bought some of that good weather out of the float from the Enron trading floor. Ask why?

 

We have had about 10 inches in the past 5 days here. I love it!
It will stop in four days.

I've had enough of the rain too. It isn't even helping mother nature anymore... just pooling and running off becasue everything is so saturated. It will be nice to see if they lift the watering restrictions after all of this!

 

Watering restriction? Tell that to some of my neighbors and the city of Boca Raton. The city seems to water certain areas whenever they desire, like every day even if the area doesn't need it. Some of my neighbors do the same. LOL

Same here! Everytime I try to go outside it seems like i trip a rain sensor.Oh well that's why they invented video games & a remote for TV.

 

I went to bed praying for sunny skies and woke up to the sound of hard rain.

I've got a long drive ahead of me today, I hope it ceases for at least a little while so I can attempt to drive safely.

 

Rain and more rain. I was all set to go to the Bahamas this weekend via boat. I did all the fussy stuff to get the boat ready with everything checked and re-checked. No go Thursday or Friday and this morning when I checked at 3AM it looked too dicey as well. I feel for the marinas in the Bahamas. Their business is way off and they were looking to make up a bunch of ground this weekend. It pretty much fell apart on them. One marina ended up with 80 cancellations.

 

How do you like that Motive? i was going to get the exact same one and would like to know if you are happy with it.

 

I bought the same Motive unit for my other cars.... It works very well after I did some modifications to mine.

First off, none of the adapters would fit my 2001 360 brake reservoir screw on filler. I bought a new reservoir from Ferrari dealer so I could get the screw on cap (about $30 cheap!!). I drilled a hole throught the cap for a hose fitting that is glued in place with epoxy. I added quick disconnect hose fittings so I can change adapters quickly. I don't put fluid in the Motive tank, instead I use the Motive system to pressurize the car brake reservoir. This means less clean up after bleeding the system. I just refill/pressurize the reservoir as needed, not letting the level get too low. Works Great.

Woo Hoo!! It stopped!!

Crap. There it goes again...

 

I was down w/ wife in Vero from 5/8 - 5/16 we had 1/2 a day of rain. Otherwise it was beautiful, 85 every day, played golf, went to the beach club and BBQed almost every day (live in a coop apartment in NY can't BBQ so it's always better than going out). May is usually the dry season right. Sorry for all the rain. The weather in Florida is sooooo much better than NY.

Took my NSX to work ... the poor car took a BEATING under the rain -strong rain- ... i couldn't just not drive since sunday, I was craving bad ... hopefully doesn't rain on my way back ... dammit .... Rain is good still ...
