    Greetings Everyone,

A few of you may know that I have been restoring my 79 GTB. During that restoration, I removed the build/VIN plate from the drivers side door jam. I placed in what I thought was a secure location, but my mentally handicapped daughter took it and to this day I do not know where it is. About eight months ago, I contacted Lucy at FNA about seeing what the possibility was of obtain another plate. At first she told me that she would contact the factory and investigate the possiblity of doing it. Then she told me a week later they (Ferrari) were considering doing it. As the months went by, I had given up all hope of getting a replacement and then I got a call from Lucy about three weeks ago. She informed me the factory was making a new plate and to send her a check for 250 euro (some things are priceless). I received the replacement plate this week and the first thing I did was reattach it to the car!

I would like to thank Ferrari and Lucy for their assistance with this matter!

    Ciao,
    Alan

Get me one, too, please :)

Geez, if'n we'd have only known back then, wouldn't have been too difficult to order up some extras.
