Yes, I did see it here a year ago or so, but it's VERY Cool!! There are a couple websites out there with more coverage of the car. Google Search.

It is a repost, but it's never bad to relive such ingenuity.

I think what we all really want to see is a 1/3 scale wooden F50

That has been posted quite a few times but I still have to watch it - it is incredible but I can't help thinking 'why didn't he build it full size so he could drive it?'

I agree. Seems that it would have been easier to do a 1:1 scale. Imagine, having to make your own sparkplugs! And you're
right, it's been posted more times than the wooden F50, but it's good to see that it's still so impressive that it must be shared!

Man thank you for sharing. I have seen this before but it was incredible to watch it again. It is absolutely incredible for ONE person to do this. Kudos to him. That is pure passion and pure love of Ferrari. I don't have that skill but would build scaled down Ferrari's if I could.

Sorry for posting it as a repost. This was the first time I saw the video, and I was so amazed that I wanted to share it with everyone. I did a quick copy of the Youtube title and pasted it in the Search box, but for some reason, F-Chat came up with no known posts, so I quickly loaded it into the Threads category.

For me, it's the most incredible scale model I've ever heard of, and I wonder too, why didn't he choose 1:1 ?

He sold the 312 pb to have the funds to build the p4 and he is working on it, i saw it on TV on a french channel for one year ago he had the blue prints for his p4 ready and was working on the model (tube frame) also he did not wanted to saw for how much money he sold it and to who he sold it, but after the broadcast the new owner would pick up the model in person.

    friendly greetings,

    alex

Point well taken. Searched for it on the site, and was not there. Guess my search talents are not very good. Oh well back to the B&W TV for some "Car 54 where are you?"
    Regards, Alberto
PS Big Tex, who was your friend?

In all fairness, it's been nearly a year since the last post on this - so repost is no big deal. Anyway, I moved and merged it with the existing "Official Thread."
