I equate owning a super car and NOT driving it to dating a virgin super model. Something is missing!!

Agreed when the car isn't in the shop for 2+ years :D It's like having that virgin locked up until her mom can find the perfect dress.

Your odometer still has a "0" as the first digit. GET TO WORK!

550 Maranello - straight through - Palo Alto, CA to Vancouver, BC - gas, SBUX, burgers, again and again and again. close enough to 1200 miles.......
(tho at the end I had to be removed from the car.....;-)

No long trips in Ferraris, but I drove about 1,100 miles from Georgia to Long Island via PA through upstate NY down to WWoC a few years ago. About 18 hours total. Of course, there was a string of 900-mile weekend trips to Jersey; 1,800 miles round-trip.

I wish I knew, but I think that if Losee hadn't had his accident, the MM Enzo would be the 'most miles' Enzo.

I want to know just as much as the rest of you...!

    ...but this sounds about right:

Perhaps Manuma can chime in with a mileage update - or better yet, an odometer picture...!

Carlo, awesome pictures...! The first one is especially fantastic...!

    Beautifully said, Rick...!

No Italian cars for me yet, but I have put 2,200 miles on my Viper in the first 7 months of owning it. And most of that was over the winter :)

Read the history of your J6 MKIV on ultimate car page - Wow, just beyond words. "That doesn't sound like a kit car" indeed, but instead a rolling monument to one of the greatest eras in motorsports history.

Ref the "nice Corvette" thread, you showed admirable restraint in not asking the 911 driving bf if he'd ever heard of Mark Donohue, or Bruce McLaren.... or if he knows of any other 220mph kit cars from 1967!

Great to see your vintage racers on the street, rather than collecting dust in museum.

    Thanks for a great thread.

Longest trip in the SE-R was 944 miles in 24 hours exactly.

From Nashville to Chicago and back for the US vs. Brazil exhibition match a year and a half ago.

I drove 19 hours for 3 hours of the best futbol I've ever seen.

My roommates decided to sleep on the way back, unfortunately, and it was almost the death of them because I only had random freeze-outs and an iPod to keep me awake.

I even got up and went to school in the morning.

She just turned 205,600 today. Doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil. Two Highway 129 runs and counting. One more in a few weeks.

    Here's to driving!

Got my Scuderia spider...yellow/black a few weeks ago. Have over 1500 miles on it. Just took it on a early a.m. trip from NJ to New Platz as the sun was coming up. Such a great car. I do not understand how anybody can have a Ferrari and not drive them....Also have a 599 that I put on over 3000 miles within 7 months since getting it new.
...Got an Enzo about 9 months ago with 3000 miles on it (2003 - 2008) then I put on 3500 miles (2008 -2009). I love driving my cars...I buy them for fun and enjoyment not to make $$$ or to lose as little as possible. Enjoy...enjoy...enjoy.

Jim you are the man! You and Tax Dr-2 are quite an inspiration to several of us because of your reputation on this board and in the world.

My "super car" gets about 15k miles a year nowadays. I use my weekends (which are on weekdays) to drive, relax, and take pictures. June 1st is always a special day because it means my favorite road reopens in the mountains (Old Snow Basin Rd), and means I'll be out driving even more.

I drove 700 miles (350 there, 350 back) in 10 hrs to pick up my (now) wife to bring her up for a visit. Her family moved away while we were dating but we kept it going and finally got married. She knows my love for the road and is convinced that I was more excited for the drive than I was to see her. ;)

My friends and I do several road trips, usually split between me and one other driver. I've done several 1000k + mile days. I think my highest mileage was a road trip to pick up scuba gear from my dad. 1500 miles in under 24 hrs, and that's with a 2 hr stop in Vegas to bum around.

It's great to see you guys enjoying your cars. I'm sure we all have a lot of passion for the road and have great love for our cars. Mine's no F-Car but it means a lot to me because it's a goal I reached and am able to maintain.

PS, if you feel like your super car needs more miles and you don't have the time, I'm always willing to take the keys for you. :) :) :) Below is a pic of my beauty that I took on a drive last week.

Awesome! I couldn't have said it better myself. Seems we come from the same mold. Whatever puts a smile on your face.

I still enjoy this thread but realize that we don't take pictures that often when we're driving the cars. Please keep posting pictures when anyone get some taken. "DRIVE THEM!" I will post some pictures of the boys and girls charity event we did last Tuesday when I get them. I missed the event because I was on a jury. I had to deliver the car to the track on Monday evening after my civic responsibilities were done for the day. 6 people donated to our charity and got to go for a ride in an Enzo. 5 laps each at MSR Houston and we raised some money for a good cause. After 5 laps I am sure there were some smiles.
