One of the differences between my 1975 series 1 car and Perfusion's 1979 car (and there are TONS of detail differences) is that there is bulge in the front fender liners for improved turning and less rubbing. Lift the hood and check right behind the battery on a later car and there is a blister that is exactly where the rub marks are on your car!
Sounds like an excellent idea! I might just hammer this out of a sheet of aluminum and rivet it in place. Or just smoke up my rear tires every time I want to do a tight turn
Been looking at these threads recently to get ideas for my 328 GTS (just so happens to be the one in the background that is currently getting the targa painted to match). Figured I'd post my old GT4. Pics are from when I sold it a few years ago (pretty sure I've posted it elsewhere sometime ago in this forum). Rear was lifted a little and thin spacers (rear only) were fabricated for them to fit. Not to hijack this thread or anything, but are you "going back" to the original factory spec on any OTHER parts of the car? (The mirrors being body colored might work, a la GTO, but the slats over the vent window? Maybe a good idea that didn't work. . . )

Very nice wheels, indeed. I applaud your sticking with a 225 section on the front, and you may like them better at slightly higher air pressures. Over time, you may find the 265 in the back a bit large for the 3.2 suspension and power, with possible premature wear due to the geometry. Just something to watch out for. Of course, I am an over-opinionated mondial guy. That's a superbly pretty car - the wheels were a quality selection.
Thanks Russ! About the the 265 at the rear, I understand and since, like you, I want to get around 320-340 hp from my 3,2 engine, not to forget some suspension tuning on the stiffer side, this will help! Why higher air pressure for the front tyres? Cheers!
This car looks great! The "Lower" profile tires look proper. I hate it when people do full "Rubber Band" tires. They just don't fit the 308. But your car looks incredible!
nice to see you finally got it back on the road........... it sits and looks perfect it needs a rear deklid spoiler i have a new one pm me .....
Wow, maybe because of the colour and wheels combo and the angle of the photo, but I had to do a double take to realize this was even a Mondi. Black mondi's rule, wheels look nice but maybe a little stuck out of the arches ? Lee
These wheels look great. I have a similar set (IForged same style) waiting to be put on. Do know the wheel widths and offsets?, did you need spacers or any other issues? Mine are 8" and 9.5". My hubcaps are the manufacturers which are close to 60mm. The stock Ferraris prancing horse ones are 50mm, what size are yours? stock or different and source? Does anybody know if the Compotive hub caps (horse)are larger? From the photos they do look larger.
