Mega Thread: The 430 Replacement (F450, F500, etc)

Sorry for watermarks, it is necessary after wrong experiences with our unique photos of California after crash tests from last year. Journalists and other people cut our watermark off and used this pics as their own photos.

 

That front end is wrong.

 

Maybe so, but the watermarking is SO aggressive as to render the pictures useless

 

Four wheel drive? Hybrid power? Maybe not on the F450 and maybe not this year but the patents have been officially filed. Check it out:

Filing a patent and actually using it are two different things. Still, if it improves performance, why not? I don't have an issue with it aside from the cost and reliability. If Ferrari doesn't do it, you know Audi and Porsche will.

I disagree !
I think it is beautiful, especially from the front and the side.
Don't really like the rear with the single lights too much.
I think modern Ferrari cars tend to grow on us over time.

Remember the 360 Modena or the 550 Maranello ?
People used to say that the 550 looks like an italian Toyota Supra and the 360 Modena was ugly compared to the beautiful (still is...) and classic lines of the 355.
Who can now argue the same ?
The same way the 550 is now classic (and beautiful) and the 360 always seems modern, I think the new 460 (if that's the name) will become a looker over time.

Hmm. Nice lines, but I hate dinky headlights--sort of a frog look. I've seen the 430 lights in action and think they are poor at illuminating the road at night, and these look even smaller. Again, like the curves.

the front looks horrible.

 

I actually like that. I thought the original pic looked like a Nissan for some reason. This one looks pretty sweet though.

 

Something tells me this is pretty close. I'm not sure about the front. I like the rear a lot and the side profile looks interesting. I think there will be some kind of pop up intakes that perescope up in the rear at speed.

Gotta see it in the flesh though. The spy photo some time ago (the one without the front and rear panels) still looks good to me.

 

Looks like a kit car body. I was not a huge fan of the F430 when she came out but love it now so hopefully it will grow on me

 

thats nothing to do with the new Ferrari, the link shows a fusion of cali and 430...nothing resembling any new material. the photo above is an R8 with a lot of photoshop, nothing but a web gimmick.

Honestly, the second I saw the pictures, the image of a car that pops into my head is the ASL Garaiya.

That photo was taken from Exoticar. They are a horrible website that has scam multiple members here before.

 

I like the looks of the first one, but the second two pictures just don't do if for me. I know these are just renderings but hopefully Ferrari will lean more with the first one.

 

I think (if this is real of course) that they are trying to get the look of an F-1 car nose.

Let's wait and see what it looks like in person. The F430 nose was controversial also. When I first saw the renderings, I hated it. Now, I love it.

Discussing the car based on these images is a total waste of time.
