just saw that the car was recently sold if the new owner is a F-chat member or if somebody knows him I know one of the former owners who have a lot of pictures of the car when racing (and not only the Le Mans 75 race) contact me with PM .

Nice group picture! # 48 the ex Mignot Jones Gurdjian will be again at Le Mans Classic in grid 5 this summer.

 

Gregor Fisken was involved in this sale, so easiest is to give him a a call or say hello at Retromobile and ask him to contact the new owner.

 

I'm going to Paris with the daughter of the former owner so we will go to Gregor Fisken stand and ask.

I am not sure what I see on the pictures by Maranel Classic.

What happens to the Belgian Daytona ??

 

As far as I know there is no replica of 16717 ,what year did you see it ? Curious what they will find at the roof ? Any link where those pics where posted ?

 

Pictures are come from Instagram .... For the Daytona copy , it's about the Blue Daytona no 48 Mignot Jones , see above , not the yellow Daytona
I heard about this several years ago.

 

With so many typical asymmetrical hallmarks common in the coachwork of production 365 GTB/4s, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is an actual/original Scaglietti built body being stripped to metal.

Car did look different from 16717

 

I saw the car also at Spa couple years ago too could also be at Spa classics but was not used was near the truck with 250 LM 5907 and a 330 GTS ,must be 9771 . I saw it at Gipimotor in 2022 when the engine was rebuild it was the real one here a video of it for testing after rebuild . The front was more than once modified (sadly) also due to more than one accident . The SF shields stickers on the front wings and back of the car where there with Dantinne and also still there not at Le Mans 1975 if you saw a car without this than it was a replica but it could be . You also have 2 little holes on the back ,remains of the rear fog light,I have many pictures when Dantinne used it .

I am almost sure there are two cars
The one at Maranel Classic is probably the original? But different from 1975 Le Mans….
