..thats the lot for now, but I wil lget more pics in nice surroundings, so will just add them to this thread. The 612 is a car that needs close inspection to fully appreciate its subtle lines..if you look at pictures 5 and 6 in the second post of the rear right of the car at dusk, look at the line that runs down the rear wing that starts between the two tail lights and the subtle creases in the trunk lid.And the rear 3/4 shot next to hit, well youve just got to love that curved hip line over the rear wheel. I really think that the 612 is an absolute masterpiece of flowing car design...I did fancy a black one, but I do think the lighter colours tend to highlight the details of the coachlines etc so well, they tend to get hidden on the darker cars.
Right suppose I better get back to work now Ive waffled so much! cheers

Breathtaking 612 showing that the Scaglietti is the ultimate "family" car.

Enjoy and thanks for sharing these lovely impressions.

PS: post the pictures of your kid in the "showroom" section. There is a thread there called "kids and Ferraris".

    Regards,

    M

    Thanks for sharing! :)

    Your car looks beautiful.

Fchat would be a better place if all Fcar owners here took some time to post a few nice pics of their cars like you did.

That first interior photo of the set looks like it's a toy model. Pretty cool shot. The overcast clouds also give the car that deep, rich and lustrous look. I agree, your choice in color really sets off the details. That is what I appreciate about this car. Subtle but beautiful lines. Thanks for posting!

    +1

Chris, when you have the time and if you wouldn't mind, please take some close-up detail shots of the interior and exterior lines. Would love to see the finer details we normally don't get from afar. Stitching, light housing, mechanical components, etc. Anything artistic that catches your eye. :)

What a great looking 612, congratulations. Can you tell us what exactly on/in the car was commissioned in the OTO program...?

Magnifique! I've always felt the 612 is very elegant and commanding. When I see your car I think of a finely tailored suit: taut, form fitting, and expressive proportions, while remaining both sporty and (most importantly) comfortable at the same time.

I think Ferrari made a huge mistake not including the 20" Challenge wheels from the start. The 612 with those wheels makes a stunning statement.

I'm still dying to see a 612 in Vinaccia.

You and me both! The 599 looks amazing in that color so I can imagine the 612 would be just as stunning.

All current 612s are OTOs-- it means they were built to the order of a specific customer. It doesn't necessarily mean it has anything unusual however. Mine is probably unusual in how few options it has.

Chris/anyone with a OTO....I assume you have it with the HGTC pack, do you have any sound clips of the exhaust? My old 612 had the tubi, and the new one is coming with the HGTC, which is louder, deeper? would love to hear it.

I wonder how much difference there is between the stock OTO and the HGTC exhaust. My car is stock (no HGTC), and sounds great. I think it sounds better than the pre-OTO 612s, although I haven't spent enough time around older 612s to really know.

I have the HGTC pkg in a 06 and the exhaust is much different. Deeper raspier throat - the best under underpass sound I have ever heard.

I know, and my OTO sounds more like that, only maybe not quite as loud. That's why I was curious about the OTO specifically.
