    Magnus,
no, I do not know the original color of the car. But in 1978 it was owned by Leif Broms from Bettna/S and registered JGR369. Can you add more,....please?

Great photo! This car is still a mystery. The German magazin HOBBY from that period had a feature of that car and its equipment. It was very advanced. According to that mag 2 cars were made with this rescue-equipment. Both cars vanished. Their VIN are not known to me.

The red number plate is a dealer- or short-time registration.

    Ciao!

    Magnus,
I strongly believe that the car you saw in Monza `78 was the same as on the Norisring. All those cars vanished!

    Ciao!

    ...without (!) Love!

This are the remains of #115.49.1210.

The car was delivered new to an Italian Count who later visited Bulgaria. He met a German girl from the DDR and fell in love with her. While on a trip with her around in Bulgaria the couple had an accident with the Ghibli. The Count had to leave Bulgaria on the spot and left the Ghibli behind (...and the girl! …:)).
The wreck was sold thru that country until 1981 when a truckdriver purchased it. He sold it to the next owner in 2001. Since then the car "resides" on the personal scrapyard of this person in Bulgaria.

    Ciao!

Sorry I'm late to the party! In February of this year, I bought '67 Ghibli #115-616. Was originally owned by opera star Enzo Stuardi, who also owned many other cars. He sold the car to the second owner, a drug store chain owner named Joe Pernetti, who sold the car to Forza Motorsports. I got it on eBay: def'n an impulse buy. The car needs some work, but it's a solid, rust free example that I think will make a good driver, which is why I bought it. Was originally white/red but, and the story gets murky here, the car got painted blue, still with red interior. I'd never have changed the original color, but it's a rare car that looks good in white, so since the car came in blue (my favorite color), I'm delighted. I'll be on the board lots, with all of my questions, as you can see from my posts about the ^%#$@#$ fans. steve meltzer "never enough time to do it right, always enough time to do it over"

Anyone remember a Ghibli owned by Elvis Presley? An Autoweek article mentioned that the bumper was connected to the horn so that it would sound off if anyone bumped into it.
I wonder whatever happened to this car?

Stupidest commercial ever? It´s up against some tough competition, but at least Lacoste had the good sense to put a nice car into all this dreadfulness. Made the commercial break in "Spies Like Us" 0,000001% less horrible.

I would like to make these cars at 1/43 scale. So if you have better views of them...

    unfortunately almost nothing!

The car was in 2008 with Joop Stolze in Holland and sold on 18 April that year.
