oh agreed! but probably unlikely to go *that* far down though given the fat slab of 430's hanging around there.. (speaking of which there's a crazy range of about 200K top to bottom of 430's with barely a year between them and just a few options.. needs some serious flattening out there) Either way around mid 400s is wayyy more "sensible" number for a top end recent(ish) car with still some (somewhat less slope) depreciation to come.. 600's and 700's is definitely "I'm crazy" throwaway stuff
Now something like *this* would make excellent buying.. http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=7034402&__sid=118CDA8DE49A&__Qpb=true&Cr=1&__Ns=pCar_PriceSort_Decimal|0||pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&keywords=&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294966380%204294966369&seot=0&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=9&silo=1011 Only 10yo, not excessive miles, everlasting classic shape, slooow depreciation curve from here.. price starts with a friendly "1" with no long string of "999's" to be seen either!
True! they DO work very well for 308..430.. perfect fit really as the right colour for the right car. Some bravely try to be "individual" by NOT choosing the classic colours and with sometimes middling results but "good on 'em" for those that do give it a go and succeed. The 599 can easily do red and more conservative blue is viable option for it too with the right interior.. (911 Turbo is good example carrying red, yellow, blue equally well) I once saw an S-Class in bright red and it screamed "orphan"! In the large car category a Maserati GranTourismo ok in red but NOT an S-Class.
For goodnesssake buy that car!!!! A F355 GTB in Yellow/Black for that money! Just about makes me want to jump accross the ditch and buy it. I'm sure Nicole would see the sense in it, it is, after all, a bargain price Are you on a plane yet??
yes. exactly.. yellow/black GTB in a manual (read *not* a Spider/GTS with F1!) .. and as for *that* price.. what's not to like
Hehe! Yeah, its a lovely car alright! I dont think I could handle doing TWO lots of engine out cam belt services. I havent done my 348 engine out yet!! 6 yrs this year.
Well, that sounds like an excuse, get the dealer to throw in the belt service as part of the deal, hey times are tough, tell him to have your 348 done at the same time.....he might just go for that. p.s. cam belts are cheap Hoki or snapper?
