Which looks better, 360 or 430?

F430... Because it looks more modern and sharper...

 

I guess it's all subjective.

Personally I loved the 355, hated the 360 when it first came out and by the time the CS came along I was smitten. Then came the 430 and it was an instant love affair!

 

Tough question to answer!

They are both great looking cars and I would have to say the 360 looks better.

IMO..........of course.

 

The 360 has the nicest body Ferrari has ever created. The 430's headlights are too small--it looks like a frog, but it drives much better.

 

On looks only :
I prefer the lines of the 360. It looks lower and wider. The 430 looks taller from the rear, and the 360 appears wider and even wider as a spider

I personally like the lines of the 360 better.........the vents and ducts on the 430 are to angular for my taste.
Not a big fan of the tail lights on the 430 either.

 

There are certain aspects of the 430 that I like better, it does look more sophisticated, but overall I think the 360 is the prettier car.

 

Ironically, I was in the garage last night and thought to myself the only thing I'd change on the 360 is the rear (I have challenge grille) - I still prefer the "Enzo-like" 430 rear lights...just about everything else (my opinion of course) points to the 360 being a "sleeker" car...

Think of it this way - if you didn't know which model came first, which would you think - and why? In other words which is an improvement over the other?

 

I'll take a 360 with Scuderia running gear.

 

I like the look of the 360 better. I think the lines are smoother, and the aggressive look of the 430 seems like a response to the success of the super aggressive Lamborghini cars. I would love to own either one, and the 430 supposedly drives much better, but based just on looks I prefer the 360.

360. At first I thought that it was a bit to curvy and bubbly, but it has really grown on me.

 

The 360 is classic Italian design at it's best -- elegant flowing lines, fully coordinated and balanced from any angle, form and function perfectly integrated. The 430 may have a performance edge but it's looks are a simple modification (but certainly not an improvement) to the original and clearly more beautiful car. Just my opinion….

 

360 with a Stradale front bumper makes very aggressive

 

The 430 is a great looking car, but I prefer the smooth lines of the 360.

 

It's all subjective but I always thought the 360 to be a bit "soft" and the F430 more aggressive. Some details of the F430 are better, some details of the 360 are better. I think the F430 has a much more interesting interior.

So, overall, I like the F430 but the 360 is a very close second.

 

360 = appearance

430 = performance

 

I really like the 360. When I was looking to buy a new sports car I was looking at both the 360 and the 430. I like the 360 much more. I don't know what it is about the 430 I don't like but there is just something that makes it look blah to me.

 

Both cars are beautiful to me, but I like the "nostrils" on the 360 better than the 430. I also like the overall proportions of the 360 a little better, although both cars are 10's IMO.

I think the only angel the 430 can win a little is directly from the front,

From all other angels the 360 is a CLEAR winner

 

As much as I love convertible sports cars (i.e. I'd rather have a 360/430 convertible than 360/430 coupe), I have to say the 360 coupe is possibly one of the best looking cars....the smooth lines, width of the car, dino type curve on the rear side windows, plexiglass engine cover, the classic 4-round lights...the design is beautiful. It was even more beautiful before the corvette stole the headlight look because it was very unique when it came out, but it is still one of the best looking cars (even though the 430 scud and enzo are more desirable as cars). In fact, I always wanted a 355 spider (the 360 spiders are too much $), but as a mid-way car may reach for a 360 coupe instead- my wife loves the looks of the 360 interior and exterior and I do too, and she would prefer the 360 coupe to 355 convertible.

It's a moot point for me anyway as the family is growing so it may take me a few more years to upgrade from the porsche but the 355 spiders are getting awful cheap so then again...maybe my gameplan should be 355 spider then 360 spider....oh ferraris are like a drug

 

same here. i would ideally take some bits from each car.

i'm a 3 pedal guy, but you can't beat the 360 F1 reverse selector.

 

I believe there pretty equal.

The front of the F430 is much more aggressive and Ferrari looking, IMVHO.

But the rear of the 360 is more timeless with the rear challenge grille like the 355. But I do like the huge rear diffuser on the F430....

I'd probably say as a complete car I prefer the F430. Interior beats the 360 as well, imo.
