ah.. sorry, I misunderstood what DMC308 had written, ie: he hadn't been told who it was shipped to. There should be some nice photos from HK given the cars here
I think the car has vanished... I have not seen a word from the person Aedo shipped it to. If its gone then I will ship out a new one and we will have to be more careful with who its shipped to. Aedo maybe you could send me his email and I can try reaching him?
Aedo - I pm'ed you but not sure if you got it? I was wondering if you could give me his email or address to send him a reminder about the car?
DM18 (Fchat) has the P4 but has not replied to Aedo. Can some of you help try to contact him so we can get this car back on its way? Thanks for any help.
Ok.. DM18 handed the car on to me.. [Note: all images can be viewed in full here http://img189.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=p4hk001.jpg First photo is taken in the Central business district on HK Island. In the distance you can see a triangular building that is the 'Bank of China' tower. From certain angles it can have knife-like edges and can be a popular topic amongst Feng Shui followers. The photo has "P4 in Hong Kong" in Chinese. http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/1001/p4hk001.jpg Next, is the P4 cutting in front of a taxi.. ok, not really.. its a shot looking back from the top deck of a tram This is on HK Island and its a fixed fare of about 25c US to travel across the northern part of the Island. They aren't air conditioned and can get caught up in traffic, thus the cheap price. Most public transport is by the excellent subway system.. which you can't see in this shot On the right you can also see the bamboo scaffolding that is still widely used in Hong Kong. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/9817/p4hk002.jpg P4 on the Star Ferry sign. Note it has better grip than a F50 in Kentucky! The ferry takes you from HK Island to Kowloon Peninsula (the mainland). Hong Kong comprises land on the mainland which borders China and a lot of islands. The two 'main' islands are Hong Kong Island and Lantau(which the airport is on). Apparently there are 236 islands! http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/6917/p4hk005.jpg Ok, we've done the ferry trip.. its quick and we are in Kowloon/TST now, looking south towards Hong Kong Island. That water is Victoria Harbour, and you can see some green and white Star ferries out there. The tall building is IFC Tower 2. That is the International Finance Centre... and its the tallest building in Hong Kong. The ferry departs from just in front of there. Every night at 8pm is a light show where most of the building light up in changing colours. Its amazing, but alas I wasn't there for that this time.. P4 was getting tired. On the ridge line back there is the 'Peak' tourist lookout. It isn't actually on the peak though http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/1013/p4hk007.jpg The Chinese junk Aqua Luna.. available for drinks and nibblies! http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/5732/p4hk008.jpg Hong Kong is holding the East Asian games this year, and these are the game mascots... Dony and Ami. Dony was happy to have his photo taken with the P4. Remember to brush your teeth kids! http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/4555/p4hk009.jpg Close up of Dony proudly holding the car. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/4559/p4hk010.jpg Bit of a surpise... the P4 in the 'hands' of Michelle Yeoh! http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/6509/p4hk011.jpg The P4 checking out some other famous HK stars. http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/5274/p4hk012.jpg http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/9956/p4hk013.jpg http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/3493/p4hk014.jpg Thunderstorms predicted for the next few days, but want to get some green/nature shots of HK. I'm also checking on the next P4 recipient.. ps: quite happy if someone wants to upload the photos to ferrarichat.

Slowly, since my health is been kinda shakey (getting better now). I have a hard time working with all the html codes. It will be up though I promise. I need to buy a .com for it also, but that's the easy part.
Slowly. That was your response last time! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=138591737&postcount=506 I'm dying to see this when it gets put together. About how many miles has it traveled at this point?
Yeah I know I'm sorry, I'm looking forward to the site also. This dang MS has really slowed me down (blah). If anyone has a good suggestion on a easy pre built site that I could load the pics to quickly with an option to edit the sites appearance it would help me out. I did load the all the pics to photobucket tonight, and I will look into the site space tomorrow/ buying the url. I'm not sure of the exact mileage, but I think before it left Australia it was just over 25,000 miles. I really hope the car keeps on the move, we need to make sure each person who gets it only has it a week or two at most and is a member of this site. Thanks again for all the great pics you guys. I never thought the car would go this far...
ok.. the car has gone to the next fchatter here in HK. I said goodbye to the P4 as it rumbled off in a 512TR ..lucky little bugger I'm really looking forward to the next set of photos too Great idea DMC308 to send it around. I might go out and buy a little P4 as a memento. and thanks Pap for attaching the pictures! ps: Does everyone realize the Ferrari connection with Michelle Yeoh? I thought that was pretty clever
Thanks 328gtsfan. As I received the P4 tonight. I took some night pictures and will post a couple clear pictures tomorrow. Bob
Don't forget to post some pics of the box, too. As it travels around, show the stamping, etc. please. Thanks.
