ALi -- Can you copy and paste the info from the thread? It says I've read too many threads on the site because I don't have an account... Thanks! --Grant
It's a Local forum grant, and it's Free. Don't be scared! here is the info but it is a discussion board and I just posted it. Members from Columbus and Toledo will more than likely roll down. I feel your pain. I just Graduated in Dec and now I have this wedding on my plate. Hurts ALi
Here are a few of the photos I took. I'm trying to fix a glitch on my website to get all the photos to upload so I can create an album for the event. That Lotus is Smoooooooth. I have always liked them a little odd looking but so cool at the same time.
It looks like a great turn out, I wish that this would have been going on when i was still at Case but my girlfriend is still there so one weekend i will conveniently have to plan a trip
Ok here we go....58 pictures..... http://www.switchcars.com/mygallery_view.asp?gid=34 NeuronBob (the CTS-V driver) also posted a bunch of his pictures on the s2000 forum (2nd page): http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=698560&st=25
Been under water with work the last few days, or I would have commented sooner...I think the cruise idea is great! It sounds like June 6 might not be the right date, though, since a number of people have commitments and will need to cut out early (if they make it at all). How about a cruise after the morning C&C June 20 (in keeping with the 1st and 3rd Saturday schedule)? Anyone want to volunteer to develop a route, or at least contribute ideas on general direction and location and we can develop details from that? Bob P.S. Props to all the photographers - some great stuff!!
What kind of a destination do you want? We could take 90/2 east into Willoughby then jump on River Rd and take is south to Chagrin Falls or finish near the Panera that we were considering for the C&C. There is a Chipotle there for lunch or other little shops in Eaton. If you wanted to go further east then we could make the drive to one of the Vineyards in Madison. I only know the East side stuff but if anyone has any suggestions
So should I change the date from June 6th? We didn't know how far people wanted to cruise but we can head from the last location towards 271s and end in beachwood for some food. Either way, keep me posted, and I'll edit the other forum threads I started. ALi
Whatever you think...my thought was in response to the postings in your midwestelite thread - people have graduations; others are en route to Florida for a show, etc. Just seems like the turnout might be better and people would have more flexibility on the 20th. Heck, why not do both? Go east on the 6th and south or west on the 20th, or vice versa? Summer in Cleveland is too short to waste opportunities... Bob
New plan, there is a Drive for Cancer show in Columbia Station that I will be attending, can we do a Meet there? Should be a bunch of euros and exotics so I think it would work out great? ALi
I'll have more info in the morning. I was asked to park my car with North Shore Tint in one of their display sections. I'll try and post it in the morning but if not, V51(member on MWE) will post a thread very soon. Sorry for the lack of info but I volunteered without thinking twice, good cause is just that, a good cause. With cars -------------------- edit: here is some info June 6 – Littlest Heroes Poker Run & Car Show, Columbia Station, the Poker run starts Westfield South Park Mall 10am, the final destination car show Columbia Station at 25540 Royalton Rd, awards, caricature drawings, part of antique engine and tractor display (440) 238-3578 --------------------- ALi
I may have that confused with another cruise for cancer from Medina but not 100% sure. Details soon as I have them. ALi
Guys, I'd be concerned about changing the dates and locations too many times or we'll run the risk of dwindling interest. Having it every other weekend for those that can make it gives the event consistency. My $0.02. Brad
http://www.littlestheroes.org/index.php?page=events&item=events/data/event_2009_04_20_4003.php Any interest? ALi
Hi ALi, I'd be up for heading to that show from Quay 55. However, I'd prefer to stay at 55 long enough to let the C&C gathering run its course and then head over, even if that means getting to the show a couple of hours late. If that's what you were thinking, then I'm interested. - Tony
I agree. By the way, I've seen your car at the Canton Italian Festival once or twice -- excellent choice of license plate! As a side note to all, I spoke with Lee Contie a few days ago, and he will be at the C&C on the 6th.
It will be good to see Lee again. I received the invite for his Canton festival -- looks like it's back on for this year. Good news!
