I feel like a kid that just looked up a skirt. Hihihi.

I didn't see any turbo intercooler plumbing but the red bits off the exhaust manifold are a bit curious. Anyone able to identify what's going on there?

Very interesting headers that feed into the exhaust. Look very nice indeed.

Note the threaded fittings for O2 sensors etc.

    I like that configuration.

Yes i remember they were having issues with the cooling on this system and it was thought that hey had perhaps abandoned it. They did make some deal with audi years ago to exchange f1 tech for awd tech. looks like maybe they got it working.

My take: turbos - no way. Ferrari likes good engineering and as a side-effect it embarasses cheaper 'muscle cars' which have huge engines but can't breathe.

If it's going to be wider than a 430 that would not be cool. The damned things are too wide as it is.

I'm thinking that if it's going to be environmentally friendly it's going to maybe have ceramic coatings on the exhaust ports and pistons and also twin-spark - this means higher compression ratios, better burning, less capacity required for the same power, etc. Maybe even go to 5 valves per cylinder again.

In what universe is turbocharging not "good" engineering?

Also keep in mind that muscle cars are typically fun street cars thanks to big torque. Apples to oranges.

If turbobcharging is not good engineering, then the F40 and 288GTO are poorly engineered. I guess I can officially say "hogwash" here.

The pale blue car has light brackets just where the black car coming out of the trailer has lights....

Oh yes and while some thought those mirrors are actually teleprompters, they are FLIR's! Foward Looking Infa Red sensors.

Ferrai owners will now be able to look forward into the future and actually see things.

No more "back to the future"!!!

I wonder if that is for the new Enzo replacement? Last I heard from a reliable source, Ferrari didn't have any plans to FI their 450.

I think its around 90% of ferrari's are f1, so i doubt that would happen. Unless you mean it will be dual clutch.

The exhaust manifold configuration looks strange to me.
