I put an update on the Viper forums tonight so hopefully you'll see some snakes there. Looking forward to seeing more pics after the event!
Looks like the weather will be sunny and a little cool. See you there! Installed the new battery in the Maserati and it's running great. No American muscle this time... Brad
wish this was local lol http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/food/2009-06-02-vietcoffee_N.htm?csp=34 ALi
noooo replies? or am I in the wrong place? either way, great to see everyone again, and hope to see many more next time. Invited a friend with a bull to come to the next meet. A very loud bull. ALi
It was nice to meet everyone. Ali, How did the ride to Columbia Station go? I won't be at the next one my ducati club will be riding into the good roads south of New Philly so that will be an all day thing.
It was good to see everyone again - that's what I like about the Cars & Coffee format; you get to know people instead of just recognizing their cars. Yesterday's pictures can be viewed at my PhotoBucket album: http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e352/350D2006/CC%20and%20C%20-%20June%206/ I hope the shot of your car came out OK! If anyone wants the original, unprocessed .jpg or raw file, let me know. I'll hang on to them for a week or so. Next time I'd like to get some shots of owners standing next to their cars to help us recognize people and link them to their rides. Brad
Ali, Jason, Brad, and everyone else, it was very nice to meet all of you! Brad -- great photos! I'll also miss the next one because I'll be traveling, but should be back for the following meet. The cafe was nice, as was the atmosphere created by the lake, boats, etc. Looking forward to next time! Cheers, Tony
Damnit, I was hoping to check out the bikes in detail the next round. The ride wasn't as bad as I thought. I was flying down 71 without a problem. 82 is a public street so I don't mess around there lol. I kind of regret going there thou, it was a nice car show but it was nothing special. I'll be making the Cars and Coffee my priority in terms of Meet prefereance lol. I need a bike! I'm disappointed, I could of sworn you or someone there had a nice shot of the Bird Splooge on the hood of my car lol Like wise Tony! Boats were out more this sat than last. Anyone want me to make them a Signature for use on different forums? Something like this...... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v629/Goliath27/MRCL%20WHP/ali1-2.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e37/boostedeclipse85/Automotive/HMS%20BBQ/Sig.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo263/mymbonline7/TSC17.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo263/mymbonline7/ProjectTweeked.jpg Those sigs are made by our resident Photoshopper on MidWestElite.org, if you need one made. ALi
The shot's now uploaded to PhotoBucket, ALi. It's hard to make out splooge details -- I should have caught you scooping up the little pile of crud.
Hey Bob, for clarification, are we doing this the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, or every other Saturday? any thought to "rain dates" considering this is Cleveland?
Not that I'm the grand poobah or anything, but my thought was 1st and 3rd Saturday and leave it at that. It's consistent and easy to remember - I'm not even sure where all this has been cross-posted, and it would be a challenge to figure that out and update all the different sites. I understand having an e-mail list and a single centralized site will help with those issues, but for now I think simpler is better. As far as rain dates, I think the same problem creeps in. Heck, if people like each other enough, maybe they'll drive their daily driver/beater in the rain just to spend some quality time! Bob PS I just took a look at the calendar - the only months that have 5 Saturdays are August and October. Maybe we can figure out an "extra" for that 5th Saturday in August if people are motivated - a drive and a cookout or something like that??
I am in for what ever, if rain i will leave the zo6 at home and bring the phaeton. Let me know, 1st and third sound good so does the cook out.
I feel a little more complete now > I thought about that today as well, maybe if we have a rain delay we can announce an alternative garage to meet at instead? But many people may choose not to drive in rain at all so...... not sure what to say lol. ALi
If you could make me a sig like that I would appreciate it. Mine is the first bike pic in there. Thanks Tony, a special thank you to you for letting me sit in your GTB. It is good to know that I fit...barely.
Is there a website for the Canton Italian Festival? I am trying to get the Ducati club to come north and have a big presence at the show but I would like to link to more info for the guys.
