I agree with you. If pavers and grass are not installed correctly it would not be a desireable option.

I urge you to visit the MASERATI & ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST website which may be found at: http://www.designdriven.us/

You can read about this particular garage at your leisure but this garage is actually the home gallery for an artist and is not used for vehicle use.

To paraphrase an esteemed US senator "I've got more cars than I need but fewer than I want".
He was talking guns but the same thing applies.

Jim, your garage appears to be more of a 'working garage', offering practical space that supports real-world vehicle operation/maintenance on-site. Key positive features, IMHO, include high ceilings to support post-lifts and engine hoists, as well as electrical power ringing the walls and even from the ceiling. A sealed floor that appears ready to withstand gasoline, dirty engine oil, coolant, solvents, tire-marks, etc. I like the sense of SPACE, where you might be able to open a car door, fully, and not hit the car parked next to it, a support-post or a wall. A driveway that doesn't slope into the main entrance, which allows water run-off AWAY from the structure instead of INTO it.... also, your driveway doesn't look like some post-modern obstacle course where you have to dodge or maneuver around things just to get your cars in and out safely.

But I think we both know that your 'other' garage is where the real heavy-lifting/tool-swinging takes place..... :)

That's not a Passat. That's the new Enzo Mule disguised as a Passat.

    Better than a CanAm disguised as a P4, I'd think! ;)

Jim, do you have more photos of your new Garage?

I'm interested in seeing more photos of garages that are amazingly large... :D
