    Great list, Terry!

I've added in as many transmission types as possible. Also, I've modified the serial number column with corresponding country codes (a la VIN). Ergo, A = USA, B = Europe, and C = RHD.

Thanks for adding in the shifter info you had. I put in codes below so people knew what A,B,C, meant and this is Rev 1. Others feel free to add whatever else you would like to see or just tell me.

Mathias- That looks like a good deal. Hilary Raab's English language books only go to 21399 and 1050, so the German language book is a better deal.

Terry, Urban's Handbuch der Ferrari Seriennummern is also in English. If you don't already have a copy, I highly recommend it. It's an incredible resource.

I have taken the liberty of adding my collection of 575 SA VIN research to the list. Use what you see fit to do so. I have not been collecting Build Numbers, just VINs.
You will see that I have added the C & D RHD variants for UK/Hong Kong and Australia.
I also ONLY included a manual transmission reference where I saw the photograph of the shifter. So many claim Manual Tx when in fact they are F1 when you see the photos on-line! Therefore I have added only 1 manual reference!!!! Seems a lot less statistically than first thought!

FYI, my 575 SA details are:
    VIN# 145108 - C
    Build No. 62572
    HGTC
    F1

Hope it helps and thanks/well done for getting this started!

Thx for updating Terry. Mine has FHP. Shouldn't that be noted on the list as well?

Franc- I forgot. Here it is now. Made some other minor corrections, too. One HGTC way too early and one duplicate entry eliminated.

Paul- I saved all your Superamerica data to a separate file so it will not be lost. Thanks.

Terry, is there anything in this list that isn't already in the thread...?

Also, perhaps this thread is an opportunity for me get to educated. What exactly constitutes the GTC and HGTC package(s)...? I have a few cars in my list that are equipped with carbon ceramic brakes but are not identified as GTC or HGTC.

Carbon- I believe everything in the thread is there, and I have added nothing else. If someone does want their car included, but not associated with their name or user name, PM me and I will include the information.

The CCM brakes were only available as part of the HGTC package, but nothing prohibits someone from adding them later, except cost. Unless you found them on a wrecked HGTC 575M, the cost would be prohibitive unless money made no difference to you, and there are people like that out there. It would have been cheaper, however, to trade your car for an HGTC. Brembo also makes a set of CCM brakes for the 575M at a cost of ~$15K last time I looked. There is a set of 360 CS CCM brakes on E-Bay that are tempting, if you have $12,500 to spare. Black calipers.

Here is the HGTC option. It appears some early HGTC cars may not have had the shock absorbers listed here, but did have the HGTC shock absorber ECU and the rest of the package. An approximate $25K option, it would cost 3 times that or more to upgrade a 575M by buying and installing new Ferrari parts. Since the HGTC included some parts from the earlier FHP package, I have included that as well. FHP first since it was available on late 550s and all 575Ms,

Build date is February 2005. Yes, it is an F1. Where will I find the motor number?

Terry, I have a few questions about GTC vs. FHP:

    - As the GTC package includes the earlier FHP components but under item (D) on the list adds shocks, Shock ECU, and F1 ECU as a "development" of the FHP, does that mean that if you ordered an FHP car from late '04 onward you would have gotten some or all of these components?
    - Any idea what is the difference between stock and GTC shock absorbers?
    - Is the GTC F1 ECU faster than the earlier version or is there some other desirable trait that the stock ECU doesn't have (throttle control while braking or something like that?)

...sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread, thanks for putting this together
