I wish I placed a $100 bet that button was going to win the championship at the beginning of this year. The odds must have been insane!

Congrats on Button for being the 1st driver to win outside of pole here in Turkey.

Congrats for Webber coming 2nd passing Vettel

Bad Luck Vettel his mistake cost him not only 1st but 2nd too

Poor performance by Ferrari was expecting a bit more Massa comes in 6th and Kimi 9th.

Trulli 4th! I don't recall seeing him all race!

    Lewis 13th, Kova 14th.

and they changed the channel to tennis! can't even watch the driver interviews

all good points - thanks for the assistance with the live feed while it lasted

Massa saves Ferrari and provides the only point - hope they keep him in 2010 and replace Kimi

Did you see the RB interview after he retired? He looked pissed.

"gearbox failure again.. why does this always happen on my side?" (and not Button's)

Yeh I also saw on board footage of him at the start, not one of his strongest points, to start complaining.

He and Brawn said it was a clutch problem at the start. They had it set-up the wrong way so the anti-stall kept kicking in.
And then during the race he was in the rev-limiter when he was only halfway up the straight.

Not a good thing if you are fighting with a KERS car

Ermm not sure, the comments I heard his starting has never been one of his strong points.

He did look upset, but to infer that it's planned that why, well I don't buy that one bit.

Don't think it was the performance that Ferrari and other people were expecting. There should be a few updates to come for Silverstone as there traditionally is, so we'll see in 2 weeks time i suppose. Still Congrats to Jenson and unlucky Vettel. :)

I dont think brawn would deliberately sabbotage RB's car but rubens' gearbox has broken 3 times so far versus button's zero.

    And his stupid anti-stall:(.

Brawn is out to show everyone that an English chassis with an English driver will win it all. Rubens never had a chance on that team. If only the English could build an engine. :)

I think you are wrong on this one....and to even think this is really slamming Ross IMO. What's next the "Ross Brawn Sucks Thread"??

Go Ross Brawn! If this car wasn't so butt ugly this would be the best season in years. They let the balloons go early so I followed them for an hour. I'll put the rest of the pics down in Balloon Racing later this PM.

    I disagree.

The introduction of KERS is the bigger factor here. It should of never been an "option" for 2009.

Had Mac/Fez worked 100% on a non-KERS chassis they would be fighting for the title and Brawn and RedBull would of been the new 3rd and 4th teams.

More than anything they are lucky that Mac/Fez went down the wrong path. Brawn fighting for the title in 2010*?? I doubt it.

    * - well if there is a title in 2010.
