Well, frankly, i really was expecting more from Kimi. I thought Massa didn't have a chance to score points today, but he proved me wrong. Looks like the Ferrari didn't make any progress, with Toyota and Williams beating us today. I really hope they stop developing this car and focus on next year now.

I really hope they ban the diffusers for next year. This race showed how they make close racing imposible (Vettel gaining on Button then stuck behind him).

    I agree.

Just make clear rules for the diffusers. X times X dimension, X height. No holes, no bull****.

Yes there you have it No BS. Clear consistant rules, no grey area BS where Mosley can step in when it suits, if someone dare speak out about the clown.

Thats why Ross Brawn is backing the FOTA he has gone with common sense.

Yeah don't get me wrong I think Brawn and Button are doing a magnificent job but all the talk about new rules supporting more overtaking have proven to be total bs. The same goes for KERS. I'm more for KISS (no points for guessing who 'Stupid' is).

Yes couldn't happen to a nicer bunch IMO.

KERS is a F-up waste of money, another clown of a move by Mosley, the FOTA want it removed for next year IIRC.

With all the crazy changes Ferrari has to put up with this year, Felipe Massa is doing very well. I think he'll bring Ferrari to a respectable standing for 2009, but it looks like 2010 may go down as one of the craziest F1 seasons ever.

I recall hearing that Barrichello's transmission failed, was this related to his awful start? On the replay it looked like he was having issues with the transmission on start.

Gee, I thought the Monaco GP was boring.

It's a conspiracy! Brawn has always been there during Schuis #1 status, there is no doubt he intends for Button to be WDC.

But I'm not a fan. Nothing particular I have against him, I've simply never been a fan.

Exactly. I love RB, and so I always preface my comments with that so you all know it. He made some overly agressive moves (see stupid) trying to pass today, but the start should not be that difficult for someone who has more F1 experience than anyone in THE HISTORY OF THE SPORT. The look on his face as he turned away from one of his engineers in the garage said it all. He was PISSED. Primarily because he knows the season is now over, because his car was dicked up.

Full props to Button (which is hard for me to say so give me some love here Jenson fans) he did it again and is clearly the man this year.

Hopefully RB just says F^ck it and drives to win races the rest of the year and doesn't worry about the championship anymore, since that is now gone unless lighting strikes Button the other way.

I will say this. The one thing that is hard for me to swallow is the fact that Button now has the second best start in the history of Formula One, and I am not quite ready to put him up there with Fangio, Senna, and Schumy, and apparently RB isn't either. If you noticed with about 16 laps left, they put up a comp between Jenson and RB's best lap and last lap, and RB was marginally faster in both of them. He has to be ready to pull what's left of his hair out. I know I am.

Did Jenson sell his soul to the devil or what?

.....MB...Button deliberately dialed back his car the last dozen or so laps to conserve it. That is the ONLY reason RB was close on lap times. Jenson is a great driver. Rubens is a great number two. Period.

....good grief....of course, RB is obviously the better driver, it's only those perfidious Brits who are holding him back from his rightful claim to being WC. Perhaps after what...18 or so seasons he would have accomplished this if he actually had the talent necessary.

Hey now. I am a huge Ferrari fan, but let's be fair, none of us were complaining when Shumi and Barrichelo ruled the roost. Just goes to prove how awesome Brawn and his guys are. Wished they were still with Ferrari but they're not. Who knows, next year may not matter much anyway if the drama goes any further. Ferrari may still be there because of the contract obligations but will it really be F1 if the other great teams leave? Time will tell. Maybe things won't change much. Maybe there will be a huge dissention. Who knows.

Good post-this entire season is a clusterf IMHO. Aero grip was supposed to be reduced-hence the return of slicks-but we still have "dirty air" and the driver counts even less....KERS is a waste of time and money....Money? Teams have spent a lot of it redesigning their cars to meet the double diffuser and kers challenge. Everything they have learned will be tossed out since the cars next year will not refuel and the will require large fuel cells (and mandatory KERS) and that will require all the aeros and weight distribution to be reworked....lots of costs savings there...as for this year congrats Brawn and Button but they are making a laugher out of it-hardly a close championship. 2005-2008 were much more exciting....my 2 cents.

The f-car drivers are obviously retarded inbreeds. Lets hire bourdais and PK?

Massa: Not quick by natural talent and had to be trained by the best to go quick and be quick. When he gets his car right he is unbeatable. I like him, but I sense some rubens barrichello in him...

Kimi: one of the quickest drivers out there. Last years chassis didn't suit his driving style and this year the car just isn't quick. He has been 'quick' this season, just with some mistakes.

Melbourne, in 5th, he ran a bit wide over the curb and the rear wheel touches the grass by a few inches (which is nothing). car spins and he hits the wall. So everyone brands him demotivated.

Spain: both Kimi and the team thought he didn't have to go out again, primarily because he wanted to preserve the tires. Didn't work and he get branded demotivated.

Monaco: Kimi finishes 3rd and he's back again.

Turkey: Kimi fights for position with alonso, and Kimi's front wing hits alonso's rear tire. racing incident which left his car understeering, something you don't want in T8. Kimi can't go quicker because of this and finishes outside the points. He gets branded demotivated yet again.
