Hey all; I just got my first Ferrari, a 355; I'm wondering if anyone knew a reasonably local Ferrari tech in the South Bend/Mishawaka area, or if I'm going to have to take it out to Chicagoland for service?

That sure is a good looking car. Bring it to Indy this Saturday for the Cars and Coffee gathering and meet some of the folks from this area.

And Brian S has a good long reputation in Indiana for Ferrari service.

I'm a nightowl usually, but the coffee shop get together sure looks like fun; I'll try to drag myself out of bed early one morning and make it down there one of these weekends!

You have a beautiful 355 on your hands. Treat her good, and drive her safely. This wouldnt by any chance happen to be Blake Simon's father's old car from Florida, would it?

    Regardless, shes a beauty.

I got it from a dealer, and am brand new to the community; but the old title was under "Randy Simon", so I'm assuming the answer is yes, it was Blake's father's old car. I guess this is the father of someone on the forums?...

Congrats! Great color choice. I'm always surprised at how many nice cars are around South Bend. Are you a Domer by chance?

No, I'm new to the area, moved up in the last year to bring my kids and wife closer to my wife's family (tons of cousins for the kids).

Apparently there is a guy with a few Ferraris in town there who has his own tech who services his collection. Webby, do you know who I'm talking about?
Otherwise, there are a couple places in Indy. (Motorkraft, Brian Stewart) As far as Ft. Wayne, there is only 1 shop that I know of and I can't think of the name now. I'll get back to you on that.

well welcome to the area then... enjoy your car every chance you can get in the summer, the winters are endless :(

I think so, I know who has a lot of vintage cars including Ferraris but I'm not sure if he's the same person with the Enzo / newer cars too
