I should be there too (with something with some Captain on it).

Meet at the bank at the usual time, Lane?

Hey Lane I was driving on 95 today around 4ish over the Old Saybrook Bridge and saw a black 348 ... looked like you driving... I was in my MB - so I doubt you would have seen me. Was that you?

Yup...picking up lil bastage at a friends house. Perfect day for a cruise today.

You should come by soon...The new location is awesome and we are attracting a wide variety of cool rides. Averaging 22 cars a day now. Waiting for some pics from today. Even the women are starting to show up. I really should bring a camera...

It was looking like a great turnout when we left for greenwich! Greenwich was nice, perfect weather , some real good cars, I attached some highlights, Like the Tesla cars, some vintage, and a super sweet New Fiat 500 Abarth race car, a of course the good 348 (white) as opposed to evil (black) as in lane's......

The image of Snidley Whiplash just jumped into my head. Guess I need to grow a handlebar mustache and work on my sinister giggle. I've already got Mutley's snicker down pat.

Ohh...and just exactly how did Mike circumvent this honorary title....Did he get some Captain on him? [\wink]

Hi guys. I'm afraid you won't be seeing my Ferrari for awhile. I discovered that a fork for the left front lower A arm broke. That explains why the car was moving out of alignment. Get the speedy dry out, I'll be using the Jag.

    Hi Dean,
Sorry to hear that. Let me know if I can help, love working on these things. Did you have it out in Glastonbury this afternoon before discovering the break? I saw a nice red 328 going down new london turnpike.

Thanks for offering to help. It turns out that the cars were racalled for this part. My hope is that Miller will be fixing it for nothing. The last time I drove it was the May 31st gathering. Now I'm glad for the week of rain. It kept the car parked.

Fantastic Shots and words Gunnar! You are an artist. This shot is my favorite, if I can get it in a larger size for my desktop wallpaper I would be greatful.

    Thanks,

Nice article and pictures. Figures I'd miss this past Sunday. Too much yardwork needed doing.

Gunnar, thanks so much for the great photos & write-up. You are spot on with your commentary. I am particularly partial to the "twins" photo. ;)

    Great shots !!!
Judging from all those shiny cars, it appears the Captains is experiencing a surge in sales.
    Thanks for posting.

    PS
Hope NeroJoe gets clearance to row through the gearbox real soon.
It looks like the 355 ranks are in need of reinforcing.

Stranger??? That's ok I take no offence. Sometimes the truth hurts.

Almost made it to Gbury this past Sunday. Was planning to arrive in the DDD (dirty daily driver) then at 0800 hours the phone rang and another polo game was scheduled. Funny how that happens. Forth game in six days and this old body has had it. Season has just started and we already have two players on the DL - one cracked rib and one lower leg injury (not yet diagnosed). Mother nature took pity and presented us with a rainout tonight. So here I am lurking on FChat.

Engine is going back in the 355 this week and hopefully she'll be home straight away.

I'll try to stop down to the Hartford show.

I miss you guys but it is the time of year when the ponies are first priority.

    - Ed -

PS I really enjoy grated cheese. The more the merrier. Keep 'em comin'.
