Moral Dilemma...... what would YOU do???

Let's see how some people answer this........


You are driving down the road in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.

2. An old friend who once saved your life.

3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there
could only be one passenger in your car?

Think before you continue reading. This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part
of a job application. You could pick up the old lady, because she is
going to die, and thus you should save her first. Or you could take
the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be
the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able
to find your perfect mate again.

 

I would give the car keys to my old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams.

Or you could take the old lady to the hospital youself, leaving your perfect soul mate with your old friend who once saved your life, thus saving his life in a different way

I'd take the dying lady to the hospital because her life is the only that is truly at risk, the good friend that saved my life would understand, and the 3rd doesn't exist.

true... which reinforces BigP's thought of "leave her with your buddy".... she might be perfect but no respect for the car !!! Can't have that.... and if you gave the keys to your buddy... he might take the girl and drive off with your car (calling you both now "even"), leaving you with the dying woman.... and you then wanting to kill your buddy..... what a mess....

Take the old lady to the hospital and inform the other 2 that I've dialled for a cab, and give her my phone number. If she is really "the one" she will understand that the old lady needed the most help. If you are worried about your mate moving in ... well heck he was already waiting for a bus with her, so either already happened or not going to

Hey Fred.... it was still a great question !!!! I was out all night checking out bus stops.... just in case !!!

 

Go past, turn around then make a second pass really close to the group giving them a good soaking. The old lady will surely die, and your best friend will probably laugh it off. You can then pick up the girl of your dreams with the rain still dripping from her hair...
