Do those wheels look correct? What about this one? http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=7257937&__sid=1205919D63DF&__Qpb=true&Cr=4&__Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32%7c1%7c%7cpCar_Price_Decimal%7c1%7c%7cpCar_Make_String%7c0%7c%7cpCar_Model_String%7c0&keywords=&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294966380%204294956748&seot=0&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=9&silo=1011 Apart from the mirrors, looks ok
That is a gorgeous car!! Love that colour. You can tell from the pic from the rear. Where the licence plate sits. I forgot if it should be flat or recessed for a glass car. PP will soon tell you, he remembers. Thats the ONE!! LOVE IT!! Great looking car and he just re-listed it for sale it seems? I remember that car when it was for sale for $110K around 6 months ago. Make an offer, a nice car and deal to be had I reckon.
They're both glass (no recess for number plate) but not all glass cars were dry sump so care is needed. The wheels are wrong on the blue car, they're 16's, should be 14". It is the right colour though. Apart from the mirrors, the red car shouldn't have a space saver spare. It seems cheap however, obviously 308's are not moving at anything above $60K.
Mike is that wheel the standard spare for 308's? It looks like the Dino wheel. Mine has the standard 308 14" wheel and it is rertained using a threaded rod not a belt.
If that red one is still for sale with the same owner as last time, then I have to say that's really weird! In the photos, at least, it looks fantastic! OTOH, I know everyone says 'dry sump blah blah'....but it's not an aussie delivered car, and it matters more than the sump. If it's still the same owner trying to sell, then I wonder if that's a reason?
Ferrari's upcoming F450 has once again been spotted by our spy photographers outside of the Fiorano test circuit in Italy. Essentially a replacement for the F430, the new F450 is a slightly larger vehicle thanks to minor increases in wheelbase, width and height. Although these latest spy pictures don't reveal what the F450 will look like when it is unveiled in concept form at the Frankfurt Motor Show, they highlight the new model's aggressive rear diffuser which was first caught on video earlier this year. Power will be provided by a new 4.5-liter V8 engine with at least 550 horsepower. Connected to the California's new double-clutch gearbox, the F450 should offer unparalleled performance and a more refined driving experience. We can also expect the F450 to feature an improved cooling system with larger air intakes as well as a possible regenerative braking system inspired by Formula 1's Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS). I wonder if the new KERS will continue to cause problems for owners. By that I mean from what I've heard most owners of new Ferraris experience some issues at some piont.
Actually that "brake test" car was posted some time back from memory. Gees Ferraris look fantastic in Giallo Fly.
Yep yep. I posted pics and a vid of that car flying around Fiorano a while ago. And let me add, it looked VERY fast and planted through the corners. Interesting news in regards to those brakes though. Looking forward to hearing and seeing more of this new car.
For sale...cheap! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVGZQC8w-VU& This week is turning out to be a bad one for owners of supercars, as a second high priced exotic has burst into flames. Unlike the McLaren F1 which caught on fire spontaneously in California, this Ferrari F430 went up in smoke after an accident outside of Sibiu, Romania. Although no one was seriously injured in this fierily Ferrari wreck, the car was a total loss. The accident occurred when the Ferrari's driver lost control and hit two oncoming vehicles which resulted in the F430 winding up in a field where a fire started in the engine compartment. Fortunately none of the other people involved were hurt and the driver and passenger escaped from the Ferrari inferno unharmed as well. However, the driver was ticketed 40 euros for the crash. I guess you are correct again mate. One less 430 just makes all the other 430's rarer and more desirable.
