Hello Everyone, I am thinking about buying a BBR 1/43 model, and its supposedly NIB but some of them I see have a blue certificate with it, and some do not. In short, did all of them come with a blue certificate? I have always wanted this model but want to do it right! Thank you all
the older dont have one the newer models in the yellow box have a live time warranty the newest models ( concept series ) have a limited edition card tell me your model and I tell you what you should have
depends on the modell, the state with or without original outer box and the price.... before (aprox.) 1990 they were without any kind of display or box. From 1990 uptill around 1997 they were sold on a plastic display-base from 1998 they were sold in the displayboxes from 2000 they came with a lifetime quarantee certificate..(drop it, and its over! lol) (dates are approximate) prices vary from modell to modell.. I prefer the older BBR's!! Paul, you should get a new Make Up Dino when its released!! (www.miniwerks.com) "make up" thread in the forum!
Thanks for all your replies! This is the F355 World Tour BBR#69 1997 Do you know what it should come with? And I did not know about the Dino! Sweet I will have to check it out!
Looked it up on ebay.. http://cgi.ebay.com/1%2F43-BBR-Ferrari-F355-BERLINETTA-World-Tour-1997-%23BBR69_W0QQitemZ360161022453QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxq20090608?IMSfp=TL090608205004r4274 The BBR69 code is for the 355 made in 1994 the * behind nr. 69 is probably for a later made limited edition (thats where BBR is nortorious for at the moment). I know there was a limited edition run edition made for Romu. The discription says it was made in 2006.... I don't know if the dates are correct, the box looks authentic, quality of the car is good, but the price is high for a 355.. (is there an "expert" around?)
correct hans! the seller in genuine and very easy to deal with.. i have bought from them before.. the model represented was made for romu in japan.. the price of bbrs is always high from them but you can offer a reasonable price for it.. it is so so rare but rare nonetheless.. i have been looking at it also for many months but.. not essential when there are other models to buy!
There are so many gorgeous bbr's. just a few of mine.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
wow, the ivory GTE looks fantastic. I have the pearlescent white one from RGM (red leather base) but I prefer ivory.

Thanks everyone for your help! What do you think a good price for it would be? Oh and some STUNNING models you have there!
thank you Gerd, I am expecting some really nice older F1's from MG14 this week! 643 of prost and an 156-85 of Alboreto in 1:14... Hans
hi Paul we have two different versions , both for ROMU in Japan and I think both limited to 50 models each the only difference is the yellow decal in front of the rear wheel it has the yellow box so it must have the live time warranty card ( in the background of the third pic ) I dont think they had the limited edition card at this time ( in front ) price is around $ 300 including the correct box without box it is $ 50 less Christian Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Christian, I almost bought one of the black carbon F248F1 version made for Retromobile 2008. But someone else had more luck! I personal like all the black carbon F1 Ferrari models made by BBR or someone else. wolfman
Hans, Wow, I love to have a 643 in 1/12 scale! Even though Im specialized in 1/43 scale. The 643 is one of my favored older F1 versions. Hope you will post some pics of the models ones you receive them. Gerd
I'll post pics when it comes in. The 643 is an older 1:14 scale MG14 built in the 1990's to commemorate the 100th GP-win by Alain Prost. The 640 in the pics is from the same range. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hans, now I am confused. Why would they built a 643 (the 1991 car, first raced at the French GP of that year) to commemorate the 100th GP win, when that race was won by Prost in a 641/2 (I think it was the French GP (Le Castellet) in 1990)?
