    How about Exotic Car Transport???

    LOL......

Actually, you really should call Jan at ECT- they may have open carriers and/or could direct you to someone. They're based in Orlando, and since there are a LOT of auto auctions there that draw from around the country, there's likely some good open carrier choices that frequent the Orlando area too.

I need a pick-up and a van picked up in Chicago and brought down here.

Does anyone know which one of the companies would be able to handle this best?

I need to get an F350 Ford Pick up from Colorado to FTL. I just need an open hogback trailer for it. It seems like collectively we have enough cars moving somewhat the same direction that we should be able to contract with someone at either the FLA or Cali end.

FWIW, I just had a car shipped with ECT this week and talked to them about the truck. They'll do it and the math is easy. It's 2X the charge for a car or $3500 to go Colo to FTL.

Call exotic Car in Orlando and they will turn you on to other people who can handle it - I did this with great results

They quoted me $1150 from Hollister to Boca for the Suburban. Mark, your drop off must have been much simpler.

UShip and DirectShip are great - let's you get multiple bids from transporters - can't vouch for any particular hauler, but once they bid you can check their reputation out.

I don't think they like my pick up. My quote was 30% more with 30% fewer miles to go.

If your pick up is an F350 with dual rear wheels, that's why. I can't explain the reason, but as soon as there are dual rear wheels involved, the prices (from anybody) seem to go up substantially...
