Enzo burnes in OK falls Canada

hmm..I don't recall any enzo's being local. Perhaps it was someone from out of town or something, just going for a joy ride. That is unfortunate though.

 

Anyone know the reason it caught on fire?

ZR drive from Calgary to Nelson... there was only one Enzo on the drive...

 

It looks like ZR's The rear diffuser looks like it was painted.

I'm pretty confident this was a yellow Enzo. And i agree, it looks like the diffuser was painted. Also, i don't think there were any other western canada enzos at all. This could have changed, but i remember there was an article in the paper when ZR got theirs stating it was the only one west of Toronto.
Sad day to ZR and Ferrari enthusiasts alike.

 

Not the Yellow one. There are multiple Enzos in W. Canada, ZR's was merely the first.

 

There was another Enzo besides ZR's in Calgary.. Zahir went with owner to pick it up.. Not sure where it is now. But given the circumstantial evidence there isn't much doubt this is the famous ZR Enzo.

Off the top of my head, I can think of 4 Alberta plated Enzos. 2 red, 1 yellow (zr) and a black car.

 

A horrible tragedy, but the most important thing is that the driver is okay.


Now I like to speculate just as much as the next guy, but I looked at the video and all of the pictures and I still can't figure out how some of you believe this car used to be yellow and had a painted rear diffuser.

 

Carbon - the yellow car everyone thinks it is isn't even drivable at this time and is sitting in a shop in Calgary.

Apparently ZR isn't in BC, they are having track day in Calgary? ... still sad to lose an Enzo. If it was ZR Enzo there surely would be multiple other exotics close at hand which there doesn't appear to be.

 

Well, if it's not Zahir, we need to figure out who it is - and find that guy a new Enzo...!

 

Will Ferrari rebuild this car using the same vin numbers or NO ?

 

According to Iceman Bops, Ferrari used their last Enzo engine on the rebuild of another car (one of his Enzos). So I don't know if the factory can/will replace this car.

Just got word that this is not Zahir's car. Rather it's a car that's most likely not in the register, so at this point it's doubtful we'll ever know which one it is/was.

 

Very sad. Happy to hear nobody hurt.
