Little league at Crowley....Needed something with at least 4 seatbelts and since the Bent Lee had an unfortunate meeting with a pothole, the STI won....

No, that's a different Tesla. The one I saw in St. Charles had a vanity plate relating to electric cars.

A plate that said "no gas" does relate to electric cars

if it had those sweet looking grey rims with red calipers then it was most likely adam76

Guilty as charged. :) I was returning from a trip out to Abt and trying to find a BP or Shell station in the area. I saw a number of exotics while out yesterday: Blue Diablo in Glenview, Yellow Gallardo on Grand Avenue in downtown Chicago, and a beautiful orange 911 with bi-level wing (GT2?) also on Grand Avenue.

Andreas tagged me on Lake Shore Drive as well on the final Spring Spotters post. You guys are everywhere. :)

The blue Diablo you saw is VERY rare. It's an Alpina edition, #8 out of 12 ever built. I saw it in the Glen last summer, owner was a really nice guy and opened up the doors/engine bay. Wish I still had the guy's email but it got thrown away while cleaning off my desk. Haven't seen him since. He has a Testarossa as well. Here's 2 pictures:

By the way, Willow and Shermer is your nearest BP station next time you're in the area. ;)

Edit: That was your first post, welcome to Fchat! :)

Blue 355 Spider Southbound on LSD tonight. Looked a lot like Carla's former ride.

Saw a Daytona-R on the highway, hood up. :( Driver was on a cell phone calling for help. :( Broke down in a construction area and no place to pull off. All we could do was wave as we drove by. Yes, he recognized us.

If that wasn't ADAM76 then someone else has the same set up with grey rims and red calipers. Car had temp. plates on it. ELEC CAR is the black Tesla mentioned eariler that I spotted in St. Charles. Today, a red F430 spider going north on I355 at Maple Ave.

Thanks Dan. I’ve been lurking for a few months and finally setup my registration. This is a great community and I’m continually amazed at the wealth of Ferrari information available here.

Thanks for posting the pictures of the Diablo. I didn’t realize how rare that was until I saw your post. :)
