2001 360 14K miles - noticed white exhaust during warm-up, normal?
Details? White exhaust for a few seconds? Vapor, or smoke? Car sat for a while, or had just been run? Both sides, one side? Pls. fill in the blanks and the resident experts will take a shot at it. DM
Mine does this too. Two different circumstances. If I let the car sit for a week, I get a little white oil smoke when I first start up. Lasts about 10 seconds or so. On cooler mornings, I get the water vapor too. I suspect you're having the same issues, nothing to worry about, I don't think. OH, and welcome to fchat. DM
Totally normal for me too! Also, after you wash your car, don't be upset by unusual smells and smoke coming from engine bay until the cleaners burn off.
if cars over filled with oil (remember levels must be checked whith engine hot) they can have a little white smoke on start up, if you get white dust on the exhaust its the first sign of the cats going, regards Scott.
I have you beat. According to mapquest, I am 1.33 miles to Penske/Wynn in Vegas. On a bad day, it takes about 5 minutes. And, parking is never a problem because they must be the only dealership with valet service!
mapquest is pretty cool, isn't it? Double checked: 1.57 miles to Algar. You still win, but I just shaved .43 miles off my estimate, thereby reducing my travel time estimate by almost 1 minute.
