That would be the 1989 Ferrari Conciso. It was built on a 328 chassis by german designers and was shown
at the 1993 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Not my style. The rear resembles a Lotus Elise though, if you scratch the Ferrari emblem and add a roof.

It's not the official name but a good one for it would be the Ferrari "Fatso".

The Conciso was on ebay a few years back, and did not meet its reserve of $160K! Kind of sad for a one-off Ferrari.

To call the Conciso a one-off Ferrari would IMO be a mistake; It was not commissioned by the factory, and I much doubt if it was approved.
I think the story is more like someone bought a totalled 328 and built this out of it.

I don't think it is a bad effort at all, but you need to place it back in the time it was built. The front fender treatment was borrowed from the Stratos, but the rear was quite original. The Elise was only a pulse in someone's brain atthe time, if that.

Same goes for the Modulo. Agreed, it didn't stand the test of time very well ( a lot of Ferrari concepts did much better), but at the time it was presented it was modern, different and spectacular. At age 15 I had the possibility to examine it up close when it was in the Netherlands at an exhibition in an auto museum, where I visited with a friend at the time they were setting everything up. We pushed it in its; place for the exhibition:) What a claim to fame. This must have been in '73 or '74. Then, it was like nothing else and we were in total awe. I wonder what my reaction to seeing it in the flesh today would be.
