I had the 5D2 for a week but still gunned for a D700 2x over! Sold the 1st one after a few months with little loss then bought another again :D

Canon has some juicy 1.2 primes but poorer flash system, no build-in flash but almost double the res. You'd need bigger hardisk & software management with these new babies.

Depends on what stuff you already have or not. I had some Nikon leftovers so went back to it & like I said the 5D2 is too plasticky but ergonomics better. Strange that I actually wanted a light DSLR in the 1st place for travels!! On my Nik, by the time you add the grip, flash & proper lens, it's over 3kg..... only do this in studio/indoor shoot. I'd travel light while on travels but then you need good glasses.... oh well.

Bro, it's not the camera but the person behind the lens ;) I saw a Filipino who did some amazing stuff with 1.2mp handphones in flickr. Bugger even held filters in front of the HPs!

Check out the COE man..... 100% increase in 3 months? The negative nos doesn't mean negative equity. Somehow the used ones are not moving but new ones are still rolling out. Either people are having a bigger garage or it's something else.

Damn, if I don't sell my Murc. I might just strip it light to make a GT3 outta it. hahahaha

That thing seems to have flipped!

Someone recently sent me some pics of another chap who mis-managed his white Gallardo Spyder in a golf course then plunged few hundred feets off. Passenger jumped out but sustained heavy injuries & the driver did a fatal G-force ride. aiiii

Hey, when are you FC~Singapore guys doing anything like the FCT has been doing???

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=138730376&posted=1#post138730376

Or should we be doing something of our very own Fchat drive+party? :)

We go dutch & no free meals/drinks for so-called Fchat friends etc. Everybody's equal, what say you? Extra $ collected can be pooled & totalled for a year-end sponsored gathering/party/track-day whatever we fancy.

Yeah lo, now kenna psycho by you, hanging at John 3:16 playing with the D700 just now, they so nice to take out everything plus 24-70 2.8 lens for me to play with, so good service hor I look like a karang guni man they also entertain...must say the built is damn good heavy like you say, i think with the grip its going to be heavier. But batts are cheap at 80 compared to the 5Ds 140. The above Lens $500 more than the comparable L Canon 24-70 2.8. Took some test shots with the Nikon and must say the contrast so much better...

They have DX3 on the shelf and i was thinking of the idiot Fong, so wannabe like him :D but too ex la, invest in lens better....me too poor.

Stroll over to Cathay compare prices they willing to match price so ok lo..ask them got the new 90th anniversary Gitzo titanium/carbon tripod they say have to special order! Guess how much $3890 comes with your name engraved on it and leather case...swee!

Here are some pics I saw that make me take notice of the Nikon quality stunning!

Get the Scirocco for her, it's uber-sexy! The other alternative would be the new Maser GT S Auto, that's another sexy beast :)

^ Heard the exhaust note of the Maser GT-S and that thing has a more ferocious bark than my Lambo.

Been waiting...and waiting...and waiting for a Larini or equivalent that doesn't trigger the CEL for my Lambo.

Keeping hearing it is going to come.

    Keep waiting...!
