    Looks like I won't be on a jet plane outbound after all, so are there any plans for a F1 watching bash for the British GP? I realize it's late Sunday evening local time.

    Cold, and full of people wearing black in a tearing hurry to be somewhere else.

    Frankly I haven't had a chance to see much more than a hotel room and an office, hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance to get out a bit.

    you need to go to the Charles Dickens Tavern.
    Cnr. Elizabeth and Collins street
    usually known as the CDT, and it's downstairs.
    you'll find lots of like minded people there to watch the race. you may even get qualifying too on Sat. night.

    No worries,Pap,got back from Lakefield Sundy,couple of us cleaned up,couple got a few,one useless b'stard.
    They,re great on the barby with a bit of lemon and butter....nuthin else(except a beer of course).
