Casey's Tmobile contract Expires next week, she is moving to that new I-phone .... I am jealous ... .. hahha
Does it come with a feature that keeps the damn screen from locking up and having slooooow response? I'm thinking of going back to bberry.
Cannot use Macromedia Flash, no improvement in battery life, no replaceable battery,... it's just cheaper. Sounds like they didn't listen to what the consumers issues are with this product. Ok, it can now shoot video --like others have done for years. But, in typical Apple fashion, this is now "big news". Big, big disappointment. They should call this "Iphone 3g K" -- the Kmart version. That because it's finally priced at where actual people can buy one. Remember when it was $500 not that long ago? I have an Iphone 3g. I like it. I also think it should be better. But what I really don't like is Apple and their endless hype about their products being "breakthrough".
Well when it came out it was kinda a breakthrough. And with the millions of apps it still is if you ask me.
uh, it has better battery life, 3 mega pixel camera, faster processor, 2x storage ability and you can tether the internet connection... Seems like quite the improvement to me!
For anyone who has had a Blackberry and and IPhone, could you please let me know which one you like better, and exactly why? Also, please compare them for typing and responding to emails. In other words, the touch screen vs the feel of the BB keypad, which is at least so far what I understand to be the the IPhone's biggest issue. Thanks!
Fred, I had a TREO for years and it worked well for what I needed. The IPhone is hands down better except for the keyboard function. Typing on the touch screen sucks but does get better with practice. I have had a year with it and wont go back.
The keypad sux. It is like if you were typing on a regular computer keyboard but had to hold your hands 3 inches above the unit and guess with your eyes closed. check it out: I will type "Ferraris are really fast and fun" dewrraros are really fdasdt and fun This is about the accuracy you can expect (in my limited experience) with the apple keypad. I'd go Blackberry if I were to choose, although the apps are cool. BT
I find that the iPhone keyboard is actually pretty good - because it usually DOES correctly figure out what you meant. So, once you get comfortable and start typing fast it will figure out what you meant. You are welcome to borrow mine for a little while to check it out Fred. S
Thanks for the feedback guys. That's about the same as what I have heard about the keypad on IPhone vs BB.
Ended up getting the Ferrari Motorola phone............ Not as many gadgets as the iPhone or BB, but it has the Ferrari name & shields on it, as well as some cool Ferrari wallpaper and ringtones - which neither the iPhone or BB have!!!!!!
I agree. My friend has the google phone and after just a few months of owning it and it being on the market, google released new apps changing the phone. example, touch texting and video. The Iphone has been on the market for yrs now and just now finally released an app to type horizontally and finally released a new Iphone that has video shooting. Too bad you still cannot send picture messaging.
I love my G1 from tmobile, has just about all the apps as iphone, plus some iphone doesn't, the update that came out last month adds virtual keyboard if you don't want to flip out the real keyboard, video is there, picture messaging always been there, etc. I use it for work because it has an awesome SSH application which iphone still doesn't have unless you jail break it which I wasn't going to risk. There are also third party higher capacity batteries for the G1 that fit the same socket as the existing one in case you need longer run time.
