Might shift gears and try a lambo for my next car. Currently, in the process of unloading and taking a bath on my 360. I'm looking for a 2003 Murcie manual or egear for under $130k, mileage under 20k, all services performed. Am I talking crazy or is this within the reasonable realm of possibility? Any suggestions/leads? Thanks. Ken
I've been watching this one go from $159 to $150, then sold at auction and finally unloaded by this wholesaler; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-Black-Black-21k-in-Full-Service-New-Clutch_W0QQitemZ190315017818QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item2c4fa8b65a&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65:2|39:1|240:1318#ht_860wt_818 This seems like the best deal I've seen ever for this type of car. Good luck!
Solid car. Brand new brakes, major service just done with no miles on her since, tires 80%, clutch great, full clear bra, lightly tinted rear lights, larani straight pipes, Lamboghini OC exhaust system, hard wired radar laser, dark tinted windows, after market custom mats (not pictured). Call Kevin or Roy ast Cats http://www.catsexotics.com/web/1317/vehicle/330935/2002-Lamborghini-Murcielago-
Wholesale and who knows what you get. 2002 and 2003's prices have gone up after the collapse in the market. A good 2003 I think is around $145-$160k
I checked your car. Nice ride! Trying to stay north of 2003 but I'll definitely let you know if things change. Thank you.
This lambo is crazy deal!!!! Anyone know anything about this car/seller? It sounds too good to be true. Can't go wrong with black on black.
I can't figure it out myself, it sat at a dealer (Nelson) for at least a year. Carfax seems clean, has records and just had a major service. If I had my parking story sorted out I wouldn't be telling you about it and would be jockeying to buy. Google the VIN, nothing horrible comes up other than nobody wants a black car unless I'm missing something obvious.
Yes, looks really good. I'll bet the first bid ($120K) meets the reserve. Just not many people out there willing to pay out $120K+ for a car in this economic time.
assuming i close the deal with my 360 tonight, honeybone, i believe you may have just introduced me to my new ride. speaking of which, he's coming with a certified check. should i be concerned about just handing over the keys and title? what's the standard practice here? thanks.
Certified checks are as good as cash. Make sure it is certified and you can even call the bank to be sure it is okay. Get info on the buyer like address and Drivers Lic. number. If something goes south, which I cannot see happening, you can find him. Good Luck!! Now, if only I could find an 03-04 pearl orange Murci, black interior for $120K..........
I'll have to check and see if it's still available, but I know where there is a Blue Hera 03 with Navy & tan interior and Hercules Roadster wheels in your budget. Want me to check on it for you?
On the 11th of June the Ebay car sold at auction in PA. for $116k, It looked pretty clean . I didn't see any documentation about the services though.
Not correct, certified or cashiers checks CAN BE forged and CAN NOW be stopped or returned under certain circumsatnces. I would suggest you only except direct wire transfer into your account...BUT if you feel OK with this buyer, at the least HOLD the title for 10 days to make SURE the check clears good.
Yes, that is why I said to make sure it was certified and that a call to the bank can be made. Stopping one can be done, but is usually difficult to do, agreed. I missed that fine detail. If the buyer agrees to give the check and wait 10 days, fine, but I'll bet he will have an issue with that. What I have done in situations where the validity of the check or availability of funds was questionable, was to go to the bank that issued the check and cash it with the buyer present. Once cash is in hand, many difficulties go away.
