Saw the car in person finally and i must say the front end looks very nice, but the rear is still a bit off to me, maybe over time i'll get used to it. I do wonder how many takers there will be in HK, considering the price is around 3M if im not mistaken, is it really worth it over a 430 spider or just waiting for the F450?

    Saw it at IMSS myself.
I agree with you. Ugly, fat a**e at the back, bit short but nice at front. The most complex trunk/roof mechanism I have ever seen. Lots to go wrong. Expensive SL55 alternative.
Dont like the vertical twin tail pipes either.
But ohh! the seats. Fabulous. Black with red stitching and gorgeous shape. Would love them in my SA

So would it be safe to assume that you have not made enquiries about fitting a California roof on your SA?

Nice shots, Chester. You've captured the best in an awkward looking car.

    Safe assumption!

The California roof is indeed poetry in motion to watch. That is for sure. A mechanical ballet. But no. Not on the SA.

    Seats yes. Roof no.

I am happy with the simplicity and speed of the SA roof as long as it never breaks and never has to be replaced!

Anybody know? Can you get golf clubs in the California trunk with top down? I could get two sets in my old MB SL500 with the hard top down. I can in the SA too.

i hope the new 450 does not use double clutch system ....F1 feels more original ... more manual driving experience.
