    so we get a last minute call for a film production looking for a 355 f-1spider..once the storyboard was discussed and terms were agreed/paperwork done next day im on-set at the appointed time.turns out the talent is Wayne Newton!!he arrives and looks in the car ala console and reverse t-bar and laughs that cant be the shifter...he then tells me he has "a 73 Ferrari spider at home"..i ask him Dino or Daytona and replies "Daytona of course,im too tall for a Dino!!"..well once i explained how the F1 system worked he got the hang of it rather quicklly and we spent a long day of shooting the same scenes over and over over from different camera angles etc...ever so often the alarm reset kept screwing with him...he was quite knowledgeable about the pre 73 stuff ..some cool stories about spending time with Greg Garrison and Robert Lee etc!and yes he knows exactly what the current market is on Daytona Spiders..a class act all the way!!

    Nice story. I'm sure you will always remember and it may add some extra valuefor your car if the movie is noteworthy. Had an experience way back with Carol Shelby and met Bob Lutz father of the Viper.

    I think it was a Las Vegas episode of Monster Garage, where Jesse James and crew created a mobile Wedding Chapel.....I believe Wayne Newton made a brief appearance in his Black Ferrari Daytona....
