    Dang it! I know I shouldn't have opened this! I haven't seen the episode yet, but this has me all that more excited. :) I heard rumors he'd be there. :)

    I thought the rule was that it had to be a street car to get onto the leader board. The FXX is not street legal is it?

    Thats a fair point, I heard the Caparo was disqualified because it could get over a speed bump?

    Lol no prob. :) I actually misread it at first anyway and thought it was the 599XX. Either way, that's awesome!

    I wonder if they'll say the car could be street legal and get over a speed bump in order to keep it on the list. That, or they'll get a lot of letters this week and take it down next week.

    If people start to moan they will probably bring up the EDO FXX, which is sort of street legal. I reckon the FXX could actually pass the SVA (Single Vehicle Approval) test in the UK now (thus making it street legal AND therefore able to legalize it all over Europe). Thats how manufacturers like caterham still exist;). I believe they have changed the rules somewhat but haven't read into it yet.

    Very nice!! I would of liked to see a different angle of the last picture to see the glowing break properly, but unfortunately they didn't show that. :(

    WOW! Honestly, you could see it just eating up the turns for breakfast. You can tell just by how quick the camera was moving to keep up with the car. It's incredible!

    I wondered if it was on slicks? IIRC that time is simliar to the Aston DBR9 Le Mans car and the Renault F1 car (3.0V10) was just under the minute but in the damp and running Wet rubber.

    All I know is it looked and sounded like the devil in car form, just insanely evil.

    And Schumi is a legend for playing along with the Stig character and generally just for appearing on the show to begin with.

    I'm assuming his car is an Evo as well?

    Look at how little tire contact (patch) there is in the picture with the glowing brake.

    Yes his car has the Evo upgrade. :)
