IMO, if you want a TRULY immaculate 348, you won't get much change out of $120k by the time it's all said and done.

Since your in Melb too, you are welcome to see mine so you can see what a truly immaculate 348 should be like. Then you get to compare when you go to see others.

Saw a US$ 165,000 Harley-D tourer custom on JTV earlier.
Sub-woofer, 18 speakers, Play Station 2, etc etc.
Guy said he'd always dreamed of having a Maserati, so the bike had Maser tridents worked into custom trim all over it.

I mean, here's a guy with the cash in the right place at the right time to get his dream car or a really close to a great car and the dude blings a Harley!
He'll never recover a quarter of his outlay.

Just blows me away that he could've had 3 or 4 3x8 or other number and model instead.
    Hell, even a Maser.

I think you'll find in most cases its never about the money. I don't think anyone buys a car like these to make money. Its for the run enjoyment and experience of driving a true performance vehicle.

thankyou very much for the offer ande, I will PM you if I have the chance to come see you, work is hectic at the moment.

From what I have seen, you are right that people are asking approx 110-120k for 348's with low km's in prestine condition. But......some (if not all) are sitting for months and months.....so are they asking too much????

One im looking at is a 91 348 in act, 23k kays, wants 115k, I havent rang the guy yet but been told its been on sale for approx 8 months.....I'll offer him 100k (when I get the chance to call, haha) and see whether he is interested or not. Ideally though I'd want to spend 85k........maybe I should re-evaluate my goal and maybe go for a 328, which I also would be more than happy to own.....they are in the 80-100k range from what I have seen, and are a beautiful car, some argue better looking than a 348 (which I sort of disaggree, they both are stunning imo)

    hmmmm decisions decisions.

Offer him $85k. You've got nothing to lose. IMO 348's aren't worth more than $100k. I know of a good Aussie delivered 355gts that sold recently for $120k.....
