Jesse James breaks the land-speed record for a hydrogen-powered vehicle, hitting 199 mph in a stunt for his show Jesse James is a Dead Man.
Six years after he got the idea and bought the streamliner, Jesse James has set the world record for hydrogen-powered speed

Jesse James is the only true American badass. This guy is level, funny, smart, and married to a beautiful woman. When I grow up.....

I loved the show Monster Garage when it was on. He's a pretty creative guy with great talent.

The show has been on for a couple of weeks, the only one I've seen is were he has to outrun the cops for 20 minutes in a Camaro.

    AAAAAAaaaaaa ha ha,
    How about NO.....!

He didn't ride that POS green bike to Sturgis, HE slept in the van.
Sure, he did some good acting in some porn too. (errrr, , oo, , so , , or , ,I mean , so I have heard.)
(Good thing Sandra set him straight or he would have got his punk buttocks kicked in.)
LA is LA is LA, , , , I know some LA peeps.
It is not good to be a Poser biker in LA.

    Ciao for now,

    Ultimate lameosity.

The show is a bunch of made-up stunts that by themselves would be okay but with the never-ending "will Jesse cheat death?" crap is nearly unwatchable.

The hydrogen speed record is noteworthy (I may watch that episode) but 199mph is less than half of the wheel driven record set by the Summers Brothers in "Goldenrod" back in 1965.

Is this another of those crappy fill the time shows on Speed?? sounds like it ranks with the stupidest of the stupid....pinks, livin the low life, etc...... there should be a teenybopper tv for this ****. We were at the gp in Montreal and saw Jesse too - Enzo would have done back flips if he's seen that flat black, iron cross, etc. stuff on a 360...thank goodness that was short-lived.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against a "glorified welder" (his term for himself, not mine) making it big. This show is a product of Hollywood idiots and he's just the talent. He's a talented artist and for that he should be proud. Getting chased around by a bunch of off-duty cops for TV, not so much.

None of these guys could carry Rolly Free's salt.

Here's Rolly setting the two wheel record on his Vincent. It stood for years.
That's his normal riding position. On the first run his leathers flapped and tore a wound in his throat. So with time pressing to complete the return run he took them off. That resulted in the 'most famous picture in motor-cycling' as we see Rolland setting 150.313 mph (241.905 km/h) on his Black Lightning.

Jesse seems like a great guy in person. he and Sandra have a house here in Savannah. i know where they live, as i have a female friend that had a house across the street on a bluff to theirs.

last time i saw Sandra, she mentioned she had a thing for Porsche 911's? i was in my old black carb 308 GTB, not the blue QV i have now when i ran into her.

very nice people, i wish them both well
