I'm going to be down in Orlando next week and I was wondering if there was anything that I should check out? Any events or special things going on at any of the Dealers?

Having just returned from Orlando last night, I can at least offer a couple
    of suggestions :)

    1. If your wife is going (and wears skirts or dresses) or if you like to wear
shorts, get some insect repellent that specifically lists 'Biting Midges'. We
stayed near the convention center near a large pasture with a big swampy
pond it it - apparently they breed like mosquitoes there. My wife's legs,
ankles, and feet are COVERED in bites from the 'noseeums' - really tiny
and bite like mad just like mosquitoes. Best to keep lots of skin covered.

    2. It's bloody HUMID and HOT this time of year. If you're not used to really
high muggy humidity and heat (95-100 during the day), be prepared for
some misery until you get used to it.

Glad to be back to the cool, low humidity Pacific Northwest :)

Thanks for the help but I actually live in Florida so I'm already used to the humidity. I was hoping for some locals to give some places/events I could go to see some exotics. I'm also not married, I'm a teen :)

Is that exotic dealer/gallery near the Millenia Mall still open to the public?

There is also FoCF off I4.

The Gallery is still open. They charge $20 and I've already been there and the FoCF but thanks anyways :)

I might just go check out the new California and hang out around there.

Hang out with overweight rednecks in downtown, talking about how big their Mustangs are...

I am sorry but we are not all overweight in Orlando and I can also talk about my 430 Scuderia or my 430 Challenge if it is not too redneck for your taste...

How are you handling our heat & humidity? Its going to be this way for the next 3 months. Used to it yet?

Where you moved from, its been sunny with daytime temps in the high 50s to low 60s. Temps that cool during the summer would be tough to leave. Have you started to question your sanity already?

KevFla, a Florida native whose's really tired of the summer heat and humidity!!

O.P.... if you have time to kill, head to Pointe Orlando in the International Drive tourist corridor and walk around; walk Park Avenue in downtown Winter Park and count empty upscale storefronts while enjoying an ice cream cone OR visit Orange Avenue in downtown Orlando after 9 pm and get a tattoo and a slice of pizza until 2 am. Name your poison!

I would love to do that! I've heard about it before and seen some videos of it online, so thanks for the heads up. Do you know the location and the time?

If you go to any of the theme parks the Universal parks are a lot better than they Disney parks. A trick for skipping the lines is to valet at the Hard Rock or Portofino and throw the valet a nice tip and ask for some roomkeys [they can be used for express line in the park].

If you are going out to clubs Senso and Bliss are the best spots downtown. Rok Room is also pretty good but sometimes gets too crowded.

Disney started a program last year ..... for renting rides in their Indy Cars at their race track.

Not sure if you can only ride-along, or if there is also a program to drive yourself.

I haven't heard much about it.... wonder if its still there? ( I was never interested in
their NASCAR experience, but Indy cars sound like fun)
