Here is the Verde Scuro car that has a brown dashboard. The link has photos AJS/Gus posted a while ago, you just have to scroll down to see them. I'm generally not a fan of tan interiors, but with the chocolate brown carpeting and brown dashboard it looks great.

    Best regards,
    Dino

My friend Guus Benistant in Amsterdam had a Pino Verde 308 carb exactly like that (but euro spec) for many years, it was the only one I have ever seen in the flesh and it looks absolutely stunning.

Because... nothing shows of a 328s curves like black. I'm surprised they made any in red. ;)

It's interesting. I don't think I would pay more for it, but it's definitely one that would catch my attention.

What kind of mirrors are those? That is what the car should have come with. I never liked the black plastic "flag" mirrors since they stuck out like a sore thumb on the the 308.

Imola82: You have excellent taste. Looks like I made your search much easier (or harder) for when you're ready! :)

According to the 328 GTB registry, of the ~150 GTBs in the US only six are known to be silver. Of those six, two were Silver/Red. The registry reports that one of them (s/n 76514) had its interior color changed to black. Here's the other (possibly the only?) one:

Obviously, for me the color I would want no matter what is Azzurro Metallico like my first one. That color is worth the money for me. Others I would love to have include:

    Blu Chiaro/Crema
    Blu Sera/Black
    Argento/Black
    Nero Metallico/Black
    Nero/Black
    Verde Scuro/Beige/Brown
    Giallo Fly/Black

Ultimately though, if a car really strikes me as special I'll buy it regardless of whether or not it is easy to sell. A good example? How about this one...

With White being the new Black (errr Red?) these days, that japanese GTB -- after being overlooked for many years -- is finally coming into its own! That Bianco GTB looks amazing!

I was only posting it to show one of the previous posters another example of a 328 with a brown dashboard. Its an interesting car, and one of my favorite examples of a car with a Tan interior ( and I generally am not a fan of the tan interior especially with tan carpets), but I would not pay a premium for this color combination. In fact, it seems like many people posted colors they liked or bought, but very few actually specified that they would pay a premium for a particular color. I personally would not pay a premium for what may be considered an off color even if I liked it, I'd rather use that as a bargaining tool on the price.

As an owner of a red car I really like seeing Ferraris in other colors and if I were buying a modern Ferrari I would choose a color other than red.
    Best regards,
    Dino

I actually test drove your car when it was at LFSC I think in 1999. I just couldn't bring myself to like the red interior. If it had been tan, black or even blue, it might be here in Colorado today. 328's do look great in silver and it was an "out of favor" color in the 80's so there are very few of them. Even today, if the right GTB turned up in silver or grigio or dark blue, I'd be very tempted!

Light silver/blue. Kind of like the smiley/winkey above. I don't know the name of it but it appears in the 308/328 picture thread. In the thread the car is identified as the Pininfarina show car and in the post it states that the designer knows the best color for the car.. It is an early euro GTB and is to die for. I would love to show a car like that. I can just imagine the admiring looks the car would recieve. It's worth a search. I'm doing it now.

The silver on red is a beautiful color combination! The 2 silver cars I've seen in person one had a blue interior, the other had black. Great car enjoy it.

I found a photo in a thread entitled "lets see 308s " on page 29 post #578 identifies the car as the 308GTB prototype. Beautiful!!!

I wouldn't pay a premium for colour, but I do think the Grigio is fabulous.

That's the color combo on my 308. I bought it for every reason (price, condition, GTB) EXCEPT for the color; I just wanted a good 308, but the longer I've owned it, the more I love the argento with red interior.

I think it would be awesome on a 328 as well - but I've never seen one.

During my search I knew I wanted a non-red Ferrari, esp. a GTB, but because there were/are so few GTBs available and even fewer coming up for sale I wasn't going to walk away from the right car just because it was red either. The red interior was a bit much for me at first but I was hooked when I went to kick its tires at the dealership.

I don't feel that I paid a premium for my car (for color or otherwise) and I'm not sure if I would have paid more just to have it. I guess I'm glad I didn't have to put my money where my mouth was too since everything about the car and the sale just worked out.

See post #35 on this thread.

Hmmm, I think I have your lost twin! Grigio/tan, but my girl has a bigger chin than yours. Never new there was another with that combo in this area, what part of MD are you in?
