Just had them installed on my second ferrari, they work very well. I believe they can really save your bumper especially if you live in a city with lots of hidden dips and steep alleys. I got mine from AutoTalent in Los Angeles, PM me if you want their info, nice guys and they deliver.

Premier Motorsports, I did some research (a lot on FerrariChat.com) and others and found them very nice to work with, shipped them out the next day. I am having them installid at a dealer in Florida on my 09 spider. The dealer said these are very good and they install a lot of them for their customers.

We manufacture them for Ferrari of Beverly Hills. I can make you custom ones if you supply a template. I cannot sell any of the designs we make for FoBH due to a conflict of interest.

    +1

I purchased an F430 a couple of months ago and despite much care already scraped the bottom of my bumper a couple of times exiting parking lots. I saw this post, contacted Dave, and had them installed this past Friday. The work and quality of the parts is really top notch. The service was outstanding. Dave's shop is pretty phenomenal, but hopefully I'll never need any body or paint work!

The material is UHMW polyethylene (UHMW = ultra high molecular weight). I got mine from a plastics supplier--look up "plastics" in the yellow pages. It is easy to cut with a jig saw, and routes well with a router. I made my own plates for all of my cars, but I also build furniture as a hobby so I have the tools and experience to easily shape the plates.
