Sorry, didn't see the question earlier, too distracted by the McLaren! The red car is an Allard J2X-C and that photo was taken at Goodwood in 2007 for the 25th Anniversary of Group C.
I keep on hearing that there might be potentially another two in Australia, only rumours, but they are pretty reliable sources.
The rumor of the Whittaker car has been rather strong - a silver road car I believe. Other rumors I have come across were associated to the pair of GTRs that wandered through briefly a few years back. >8^) ER
OOOO, I have a picture request!!! I think this would be really cool, and you know people would commit the info to memory based upon it!!! Take the photo of the F1s in a big group - the one with each model. Then, write over top of each car the model name and number produced. This would be awsome! SOMEBODY HELP ME! _J
Is this Mr Gordons car ? If so does anybody have better pics also does anybody have pics of Rons car also? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nope. Chassis #69. My favourite F1. Its now in Germany and the HD kit has been removed (1st pic)... This car actually has some pretty good stories about it. It was imported to the US illeaglly a while back and seized because the owners got in a little trouble. The car then went missing and was rumored to be in customs impound for a few years and then reappeared in England last year. Like i said, its now in Germany. Its also possible that this car was originally owned by another criminal in the UK before his whole scheme fell apart too. He also owned 027R (the famous orange longtail) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Decent video. Check out 6:14 where the car is flying down the straight, and it looks like it's a foot off the ground! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFIR1zh-CNs&feature=fvw _J
I'm really enjoying going thru this thread - even though they aren't Ferraris. What a beautiful car - that blue one gives me orgasms. Question - post #33, picture number 4 of this thread - is that a LeMans 24 hour trophy in the background? Scott
It is a trophy from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but not the one for overall victory. I think the one on that shelf in that picture is for an overall GT1 Class win. Here is the image you are referencing so others don't have to go digging: View attachment 646982 Here's a shot of the 1995 winner, GTR #01R with both trophies taken shortly after the victory. I can't identify the two additional trophies pictured with it - perhaps we have a LeMans expert who can chime in - but both are likely related to LeMans as well, because that was the only race this particular GTR competed in. >8^) ER

I forgot about this thread. I thought Ralph kept his out here, I wasn't sure though. Was there ever other F1's in Colorado besides his?
I believe there are 2 here currently? Whittakers car (Porrirua Wellington) and the Auckland car pictured in this thread, not certain, but fairly sure.
Thanks for that Tony really enjoyed it. I was hoping the Mac would hold out. Does anyone know the power output of a non air restrictor F1 engine?
