Good man! I just got a call from the bank, everything is in place for either another Ferrari or another invesment property. I *want* another Ferrari, but will go with another property instead. No rush though, will get one Jan-Feb next year. Probably down your way too I reckon.
i have cashed out almost everything i own, so now just have to buy a man cave and im set. bidding on this on sunday http://www.realestate.com.au/cgi-bin/rsearch?a=o&id=105793911&f=10&p=10&t=res&ty=&fmt=&header=&cc=&c=81172909&s=qld&tm=1246006285
Curious, What sort of $$$ is this likely to sell for, and what kind of "TLC" does it need ?. It appears quite habitable "as is" M

That is a very nice pad mate! Would love to add that to my portfolio! Best of luck with the bidding mate, I hope you have a win and get it for a good price. If you dont win the auction and if you dont mind sharing, please let us know what the property sold for? IF........it sells.
it would need a good $100k to make it nice. its quite dated and run down. but has a 3 car garage and 40m of wide water so very nice. will do. its a mortgagee re-posession so will sell, its just a question of whether the reserve i have set for myself is higher than anyone elses. i think the advantage i have is that i am a cash buyer so can comfortably bid at Auction, where many people may be scared off Auctions these days because finance can be so hard to get. if not, i have another house im intersted in. different price bracket, but that would then leave me even more money for a car
went to negotiation after $962k too much IMO given that it genuinely needs close to 100k to bring it back to a sparkle.
I would agreed andecorp the use of the word pristine and concourse in adverts can be somewhat overstated, see Bull**** Most people dont know the concept of concorse and all that it implies
Thanks for that mate. I also wouldnt have paid $962K for it. There are A LOT of nice properties out there in that price range. Happy hunting.
