IMHO, a KERS system does nothing but add weight and is simply another extra part waiting to break, need scheduled maintenance, etc....

I understand the philosophy, but really, we don't need it.

It's kind of annoying that they're spending development money on this, if you ask me.

Spend it on making the cars lighter or something. Save energy before hand instead of having to scrounge it up later on.

The "jerk" of the car when you shift is caused by the suspension of torque -- a gap in its application. Though the latest Superfast gearboxes are quick, twin clutch transmissions are faster, without any gap in torque to delay shifting and acceleration.

I reckon the black car going onto or off the truck were also Ferrari management leaked photos, just the right amount of tease with enough covered ie front & rear bumbers, to keep everyone a little in the dark but at the same time ramp up the discussion and interest leading into Frankfurt.

The "torque gap" he is referring to is the one between 0 and idle I think.

I question that they know what their even talking about.

"At the rear there is a possibility to see middle mounted exhausts, inspired by the Challenge Stradale." Huh??? Last time I looked a the CS it didn't have a mid mounted exhaust.

Pleassssse what do you know!!! What do you think you have a CS, SCUD, 16M, and an F40 or something........ Lets leave it to the experts thank you. I am thinking 4 cylinder looking something like the new smart car SORT OF like a Smart car so don't flame me, everyone is way off accordingly to my connections at the factory - also love the use of the 430 body with P4/5 wheels.

Wrong and wrong. This is a clear fake. Just recently some photos were leaked on a czech website which clearly showed the new body, with TWO taillights instead of four, a-la California

We still don't know the details of the front and rear fascia, but the body lines are clear. The link posted in this thread is just a rendered F430 with a body kit.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but there's a nice article on the Ferrari F450 in the 17 June 2009 issue of Autocar magazine with an illustration showing a rather stunning design (sort of Gallardo-like, but beautiful).

I haven't finished reading this thread to see if anyone has t'd this one up yet, but...

If you don't know what these cars are, you really have no business on a Ferrari message board, much less providing your input.
