no, they are green with orange numbers.

Red plates are for people who are french but are temporary in france .

I just checked it out and they are referred to as "Temporary Tourist Plates". Very interesting. A French GTO, temporary in France, but being driven in Italy. Wonderful!

Actually I think I recognize this GTO from its Michelin XWX tires - could this be 53765?

 

In case this jogs your memory, 53765 was French-registered 1784 WW 63.

CDB should be Corps Diplomatique Belgium.........

Anyway, I am truly amazed at the wealth of knowledge that is here. Has anyone seen this link? Amazing. They appear to be authentic NOS? What are your thoughts on the price?
