yeh the more I think about it the more I'm tempted to go white. I remember when I ordered my 911 in Tokyo with the white/red colour combo all my friends thought I was mad .. 2 yrs later white was all the rave .. I guess that makes me a trend setter!

I remember seeing this very awesome LP640 at some Mercedes event with all these cool jet fighter-esque decals spray painted on. IIRC, someone told me that he got some painter from Australia to come down and decorate his car. It was without a doubt one of the best cars I'd ever seen.

I'm sure the guys at Autoinc can give you an idea on some of the common service costs, however if you want more detailed information HSM also offer a pre-purchase inspection service for a nominal fee (I think it's around 1k).

I've got a 430 which is still within warranty, but normal service costs range anywhere between $600-1,200 assuming there's nothing else wrong. A clutch's lifespan is according to how you drive. Mine's done 2.5 years whilst a friends 360 lasted just 12 months! I drive hard but I'm gentle at take-off, which is where most clutch wear occurs. I believe a clutch change is about 9k, & I'll be finding that out soon I'm guessing. Fuel consumption? Depends on how much you drive it, but honestly, if you want an answer to that question then you cant afford the car; I'm sorry if that comes across rude I'm just trying to be honest.

Never buy a Ferrari expecting it to be as cheap to run as a BMW; or for that matter a Porsche. All Italians require a little extra TLC and that costs $$. Secondly, never buy a Ferrari because it's cheap .. there's probably a reason. The last thing you want to do is buy your dream car by exending your budget to its limits & then have something go wrong and have it sitting in a garage coz you can't afford to fix it.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

i think its the only 1 in the world with that paint scheme.. not sure about this though.. but its really unique and really nice.. got the chance to see it recently when it decided to come out (which is even more rare than seeing a rainbow :D)..
would love to see it again though, minus the crowds and the red barrier around it.. here's a pic of it..

Thank you for your swift response!

I understand that you are not trying to be rude, no offenses here.

Guess I would have to hold off that F-car purchase for some time more!

Once again thanks for your explanation.

By the way I forgot to say welcome to Fchat :D

Don't rule it out just yet .. I'm just one opinion and plenty of guys here have contacts for shortcuts on servicing and other advice. I'm just saying don't jump until you've done your homework.

I believe there are about 8 left in Singapore.. 3 GTBs, 3 GTS and 1 or 2 Spiders. Pricing ranges from 180-220k.
355 will cost more to services given their age and whether or not a belt change needs to be done.

Give Marcus a call at Supercars...he might be able to source one for you.

As Mark said, I think it would cost in the region of about 600k as the 4S is slightly below 500k.
