Isn't that an Autobianchi Bianchina (aka "Eden Roc"), like the one Audry Hepburn drove in "How to Steal a Million"? (Also in Paris.)

No, that's a Boxier - predecessor to the Boxer.

    They're from 1957-64 or so.
One went at auction for $20K back in 2006.

From my reading, Autobianchi was a joint effort between Bianchi (a bike mfr) and Fiat (and Pirelli?), and the Bianchina was their first model, based on the mechanicals from a Fiat 500.

The Autobianchi marque was absorbed by Lancia, according to Wiki.

Maybe they ought to think about reviving this coachwork for a cabrio version of the new 500 Abarth. ;)

(Except, once again, Fiat's put the engine and drive wheels on the wrong end, on the new one. :()

I heavily doubt that the owner wants to make people believe that he's driving a Ferrari, he's rather showing that he's a fan. I don't know about the US, but in Europe it's pretty common to have stickers of your favorite soccer team or whatever on your car.

IMO, there are other ways to show you are a Ferrari fan - like a flag, or bumper sticker or window sticker, clothing, etc, not by sticking the sheilds on precisely where they are found on a genuine Ferrari.

I love little cars like that, and the shields just take it over the top, humor-wise. It's not exactly like anybody will ever mistake it for a classic Ferrari.......although with today's schools.......

Kinda like putting one of the "Hybrid" badges on a TR or Vette......silliness is good for ya, especially is a sea of self-importance.

It confuses the Hubble out of them? Wait, WHAT are you saying, William? <holds cross up to screen>
