I have some pretty nifty shots of the F40 in the showroom at Ferrari of Houston that I took a while back. I have never posted them before because i remember somewhere reading that FOH did not like people doing that. Is that still the case? I would love to post em but I will only do so if its ok with FOH.

Hey tomgt, do all GTE's have that extra NACA duct below the fuel fillers and above the rear wheels? Seems to be the case, even on GTE's with the early bodywork....

    Ok, thanks.

I've never seen a GTE without them. I'll have to look more....

Its always nice to ask first wherever possible. However in this case FOH should have no problem with images of a car placed in their public showroom being shared on an enthusiast forum. If they really didn't want anybody taking pictures of it, perhaps they'd hide it from public view.

Well if that is indeed a GTE going by that shot I don't see the extra NACA ducts. Wish it was more of a side shot though. Either way, thanks Joe.

No no Ryan, not the image captioned "Jacked Up"! That's an LM. 74045 is the famed blue Pilot LM turned GTE.

Oh, ok. I thought that was an LM.

EDIT: The pics of the Pilot car on the previous page show the car without and WITH those NACA ducts. I guess they were added to complete the GTE conversion....which makes me think all GTE's do have them.

This is an LM (97881 or 95448)
74045 is an LM converted to GTE specs and bodywork. (Pilot - RFR Sport)

i shared a table for dinner with the owner of the car at a meeting in may. He is an awesome driver ! we talked about the F40. i hope, its not a bad damage, because Michelotto takes big money for repairs.
